The App That Knew Too Much: I Downloaded It for Fun. Then It Predicted My Future.
When I installed a strange new app from a random ad, it started revealing details no one should know. The last thing it showed changed everything.

It began as a joke — one of those harmless things you do when you're bored scrolling through your phone at 2:00 a.m.
The ad was weird. A plain black screen with white text:
“Don’t download this app unless you’re ready to know the truth.”
Naturally, I downloaded it.
It was called “SEEYOU” — no flashy icons, no app store reviews, not even a developer listed. The interface was simple: a single screen with a blinking dot and the phrase:
“We see you. Ask your question.”
I typed: “Where did I lose my headphones?”
Almost instantly, a response:
“Under your bed, left corner, beside the red sock.”
I rolled my eyes — until I checked.
They were there.

Over the next few days, I asked the app small things.
“Will I get the job?”
“Yes. Tomorrow at 2:13 PM.”
I did.
“Is Sarah cheating on me?”
A pause, then:
“Yes. Check her messages from April 5.”
It was true.
Every time, the app knew. Not just guesses — specifics.
I told a friend. He laughed and asked a question aloud while the app was closed: “Where did I park my car?”
We opened the app. It blinked.
“Level 3, spot 19, under the security camera.”
Now we were scared.

Then came the moment I regretted everything.
On a cold Friday night, I typed:
“When will I die?”
The dot blinked for longer than usual.
Then came the answer:
“3 days.”
I stared at the screen, my hands frozen.
I deleted the app immediately, even factory reset my phone. But it reinstalled itself. Same icon. Same message:
“We see you.”
The next two days were paranoia-filled nightmares. I didn’t sleep. I didn’t eat. My heart raced every time I crossed the street or picked up a knife. Everything felt like a final moment.
But the third day came. And passed.
I was still alive.
Relieved but confused, I reinstalled the app willingly this time. It opened, and for the first time, it spoke.
Not through text. But through my phone's speaker.
“Now that you know we’re real… it begins.”
Suddenly, a list of names popped up. Friends. Family. Strangers.
Next to each name?
A countdown.

I don’t know how this app works — whether it’s AI, something supernatural, or just a sick game. But I can’t delete it anymore.
Every time I try, it adds a new name to the list. And one by one… the countdowns hit zero.
And they disappear.
Now, there's only one name left with a timer running.
Mine.
And I’ve only got 12 hours.
I tried everything—battery removals, SIM card swaps, even switching to an old flip phone I hadn’t used since college. But no matter what device I turned on, the app was there. Like a ghost in the machine.
Then I made the mistake of trying to warn others. I posted on Reddit, sent emails to tech journalists, even messaged a few paranormal investigators.
Within an hour, my accounts were locked.
My laptop screen glitched with static before showing the same message:
"We warned you."
The names on the list started vanishing faster. My best friend vanished without a trace after his countdown hit zero. Police found his house untouched, his phone on the table, food still warm on the stove. He was just… gone.
That’s when I realized: the app wasn’t just predicting the future.
It was deciding it.
And now, my countdown is ticking down—less than four hours remain.
I don't know if publishing this story will help. Maybe someone will read this and decide not to install anything suspicious. Maybe someone smarter will figure out how to stop it. Or maybe, this will just become another eerie tale buried under internet legends no one believes until it’s too late.
But if you're reading this…
Do. Not. Download. SEEYOU.
And if you already have?
Check the timer.
You might not have much time left.

This app sounds seriously creepy! I wouldn't have been able to stop asking questions either. Wonder what "it begins" means. Scary stuff!
