Pandit Shekhar Dixit Youth Leader in Uttar Pradesh-Pandit Shekhar Dixit is the head of Rashtriya Kisan Manch. Prior to this, he served as State President of Jantantra Morcha Uttar Pradesh, Kisan Manch Uttar Pradesh President, and Jan Morcha Youth General Secretary. Dixit was born in 1984 in the Uttar Pradesh city of Lucknow. He started participating in environmental action when he was 17 years old. He is a young farmer leader and social activist in Uttar Pradesh. Along with the central minister Alauddin Khan, he travelled to villages in the eastern districts of Uttar Pradesh and Seemanchal in Bihar in 2002. Dixit received an award from the Akhil Bhartiya Brahman Sabha in 2004 for his social and environmental engagement. Additionally, he was chosen to lead the Uttar Pradesh branch of the Akhil Bhartiya Brahman Sabha.
