Israel reportedly launches strikes into Iran as air defences destroy drones in Isfahan
Reports have surfaced indicating that Israel has initiated missile strikes within Iran, as Iranian State media reports explosions near Isfahan airport. Consequently, flights traversing Iranian airspace were halted. Israel's military, however, has refrained from claiming responsibility for the attacks, disregarding warning sirens in Northern Israel as a false alarm. These actions come in the wake of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's pledge to retaliate against Iran for purportedly bombing an Iranian diplomatic Consulate in Syria, employing hundreds of drones and missiles in the process.
