Side Jobs That Help You Improve Your Writing Skills
It seems with the arrival of the digital age everyone's got something to say. Words are everywhere. Social media platforms are plastered with words. Online news sites are popping up every day, real and fake, featuring some writer who wants to be your go to person on the scene. And who doesn't know someone who has published a book on Amazon's Kindle platform? Yet, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. With the internet age, a lot more people are able to realize writing is their dream.

Remote Work...Let's Be Honest
Remote Work…Let’s Be Honest If you’re a baby senior, you work remotely many times a day. When I say to my sister and roommate, Sally, “HEY, I’m going down to check the mailbox,” I’m working remotely, because she can’t hear a damn thing. And, then the trek down to the mailbox finds me temporarily remote from the comforts and safety of my apartment.

Straight Outta Film School — PT2
So, to summarise my previous article: It was a hilly journey. I went through a major emotional overhaul of my life. Film school had many challenges that left me feeling unconfident in my skills but then helped me regrow my roots and also as a filmmaker. Film school had missed many marks that my colleagues and I discovered too late and entered our final semester feeling unprepared. Film school was preparing us for a Hollywood-esque happy ending that wasn’t necessarily relevant to all of us. I found what I wanted to do with my degree which was to help small businesses with video marketing Got my diploma in marketing I don’t regret film school. The experience wasn’t perfect but I still loved it.

Why I Write Novels
Over this past week, I have been fortunate to be offered a couple of writing jobs. Getting paid to do what I most love to do has inspired me to spend some time searching out ways to make more cash doing the same. Today, I signed up for an online tutorial on writing guest posts. Her seminar didn’t do much for me. She spoke – as infomercials so often do – over and over about the business value of contributing guest posts, but said nothing about how to make that happen.
