Reconciling The Gap Between The Present And The Future

How My View Toward This Has Led To Success

Today, I had two things occur that made me think and look at The Present and The Future of my Life.

I know that many people, when looking at where they are and where they want to be, get Dismayed and Struggle.

For me though, it is a bit different.

I had a connection ask me this (and yes, I know this is almost guaranteed to be a "warm-up question" to a very common sales pitch, but I thought about the question Honestly):

"... what's one thing in your life you wish you had more of right now in terms of health, wealth, and relationships?"

When most people think about this question, that gap between "Now" and "Future" becomes a gigantic leap that makes them feel like they are lacking.

It can Lead to a whole list of things that you might "wish" you had.

However, as I really thought about it, I only had one response.

"Right now? Nothing, to be completely honest."

In my Life and Work, I am a staunch Believer in being an Exemplar.

That means you live every aspect of your life to the fullest you are able to.

The only "gap" I need to Focus on "Right Now" is what am I capable of doing Today, Right Now, and am I doing it?

For the Right Now, for the Day, I do believe completely that I am doing everything that is currently in my power to get further.

Daily I have Targets that I call W.I.N.s (What's Important Now) that I hit.

My Targets include Work, Energy, and Love.

Every day, without exception, I make it a priority to hit my W.I.N.s.

Health would fall under Energy, and I do a lot toward it, in both Nutrition and Fitness.

Wealth would fall under Work, and last year I had a phenomenal year, and this year seems to be shaping up to beat it.

To give you context - I wrote and published Articles 365 Days Straight last year in my Writing, which led to 20 Nominations and Awards.

That all drove a lot of other Aspects of my Business.

This year, I have continued writing and publishing Daily, and in less than 1 month, I am already at 5 Nominations and Awards.

These have already driven my Business further this year, so much so that I may hit my "E.O.Y. Goals" here in January.

Because I Focus on my W.I.N. Daily.

For Relationships under Love, I have my Faith, my Spouse, and my Family whom I have W.I.N.s for.

Every day, no Exception, I get my W.I.N.

When you make Progress on everything you want Every Day, and you are sure that you are Capable of Being who you are Capable of Being Every Day... what else is there you need or can do "Right Now"?

Really, there's Nothing.

This doesn't mean it is Easy.

It also doesn't mean there aren't Struggles and Challenges.

Surely, it also doesn't mean you'll get everything "Right" and I guarantee you that you'll Fall on your Face at times.

But when you live Intentionally, you have everything you Need.

Now, this brings me to the next thing I saw.

I saw a post from someone who asked this:

"If you gave every area of your life your fullest effort, where would you expect to see the biggest changes in 6 months?"

Now, this brings us back to the "gap".

Most people look at the "gap" between today and 6 months, or 1 year, or 10 years, etc.

Then, they try to "Jump" that gap.

However, that gap is too far, no matter how crazy talented you are.

It's a setup for Failure.

However, if you Focus on the Gap between Now and the End of the Day, and your actions are "pointed" or "Aligned" toward the Goal(s) in 6+ Months, you will likely go farther than you could Imagine.

But the key distinction is that you don't "need" to get to 6+ Months today, you only "need" what is within your grasp Today.

The gap you need to Focus on is Small but Extremely Meaningful.

When I think about how my Actions Today are aligned with where they can take me in 6+ Months, I believe that I could get very far.

Some of my Goals I will likely Achieve faster than I believe.

But I don't "Need" any of that today.

The only thing I "Need" is to be the Best Version of Me Today.

If you give your "Fullest Efforts" Daily, you get your W.I.N.s Daily, there are few Limits that you will have in Life.
