My Year Long Level up Challenge

Let's start with 30 days though

I’ve made a decision to level up, to change things for the better this year. So, I’m documenting everything right here on Medium.

The goal is to transform all aspects of my life by doing things that scare me each day. Also, manifesting more money and creating a life I love.

Here’s the plan:

I bought a new laptop yesterday after months of using my phone to write because I had no money to buy a new laptop.

I finally received some funds after weeks of searching for new freelance roles and working on other gigs.

It was 1 AM, dark and cold in Dubai, and I received a notification, $2000 from a client who paid instantly after I’d submitted the work.

I’m like, “bro! you’ve got to be freaking kiddin’ me?”

I went to the atm to make sure the money was there on my account. Then I walked to the night market where they sell electronics, clothes, and other things. I saw my laptop, a boxed Macbook Air.

Not the latest one, but it was within my budget so, I pointed at it, and handed over the cash proudly.

As I type this, I feel so blessed.

Anyway, I’m rambling.

Let’s get to the point here.

The plan

Manifesting $20,000 months again

I’m simply deciding I make $20,000 a month. It’s again for me because I used to make $50,000 a month, then I hit rock bottom, then built myself back up again to $20,000 a month, then back down to $10,000. Now, I’m just about making $5000 a month but it doesn’t feel right in my soul. Feels too comfortable.

I have to step out.

So, I’m deciding, I’m not setting goals here. I don’t set goals anymore, I simply decide.

I learned this from a young lady online called Hot High Priestess. She’s a manifestation Goddess.

She doesn’t believe in setting goals, she simply decides. So, since no one knows me here, I’m simply deciding without a single care, and no fucks given that I’m making $20,000 a month bare minimum. That’s literally the least I could make on a bad month.

I’m normalizing it, and I’m not putting it on pedestal. It’s just normal. So, I’m not going all out and saying affirmations each day for this, although I might say some askfirmations here are there.

For example:

Isn’t so cool that making $20,000 a month and more each month?

It’s just a matter of fact, no big deal.

As I write this, I simply decide that it’s a fact because I’m the operant power, and what I say goes.

That’s it.

I wont consume more information, I’ll take action

I’ve read many books over the years and honestly, I don’t need to read more. I need to take more action instead. I need to fully immerse myself in the thing.

Right now, it’s content creation, that means writing and creating more videos for my faceless YouTube channel.

Consume less, create more.

That’s the decision.

I love reading, I love watching YouTube, but I know enough to take action. So, these days, I’ll create first, then consume. I’m not going to ban content consumption because I’ll literally hate that. But I am going to set a new routine where I create first and consume later.

As I write this for example, I was about to watch a whole bunch of YouTube videos about manifestation, but instead, I’m writing instead of watching. I’m also listening to binaural beats for creativity and focus, I’m in flow.

I’m fully immersed.

The decision:

Total immersion.

Yes.

Slow movement

I’ll move my body daily, the Chinese way.

What does that mean?

Daily movement, unforced, letting breath guide the body.

Slow does not mean weak. It means paying attention.

In the Chinese tradition, movement is about qi. Qi is the body’s vital energy, the natural flow that supports strength, warmth, digestion, and calm.

When qi moves smoothly, the body feels clear and alive. When it gets stuck, we feel stiff or tired.

A common way to move like this is qigong or tai chi. These are slow, continuous movements paired with breathing. For example, gently raising the arms as you inhale, lowering them as you exhale, shifting weight from one leg to the other, turning the waist softly.

Nothing forced. Everything circular.

A simple Chinese-style morning movement routine could look like this.

Wake up and stand quietly for a minute, feet on the floor, noticing your breath.

Do a few neck and shoulder rolls to wake the joints.

Practice five to ten minutes of qigong, such as opening the chest, twisting the spine, or swinging the arms lightly.

Finish by rubbing the hands together and warming the face and lower back.

Not a workout. A ritual.

A way of telling the body it is safe to wake up.

My Decisions

I’ve made these decisions for the next few months, and anything that doesn’t align with these decisions are out. If I’m creating, I’m creating to nourish my soul, but also to practice and build a tribe to align with the decision to create more, and build my income to $20,000 a month and more. Everything must align.

Peace is my decision.

I’m rejecting stress.

Here’s the list:

• $20,000 a month or more from my online income streams and other streams.

• My dream home

• Another investment property

• First public speaking gig

• 100k subscribers on YouTube

• 100k followers on TikTok and brand deals

• Help 1000 people earn $10k a month and change their lives completely in the next 12 months.

• Build out my legacy business to $100k months and more by year end (I’ll explain more about my legacy business in another article)

That’s it!

I simply decide that this is it. Nothing else.

It’s done.

Here’s my daily routine:

-Wake up 6 am

-Meditation

-Movement

-Create (example, one article or video, or both at the same time. I could film myself typing for a YouTube short video or TikTok video for example.

-Connect with people online and offline

-Get outside

-Consume something meaningful and create more

-Share my offers wherever possible

-Interact in my Discord groups

-Do something that scares me each day

-Drink lots of water

Meditate and remind myself of my decisions daily.

Nourishment

Finally, food is a big thing here as well. I’m eating healthy, Chinese-inspired meals.

A traditional Chinese approach to healthy eating is not about strict rules. It is about balance and rhythm. Food is meant to support qi, the body’s vital energy, not overwhelm the system. Meals are warm, cooked, and regular. The goal is steady energy, smooth digestion, and health that lasts.

A typical day of eating might look like this.

Morning

Breakfast is warm and gentle. A bowl of rice congee cooked with water or broth. It may be topped with a little pickled vegetable, a soft boiled egg, or a few slices of ginger. Warm tea instead of cold juice or iced coffee. The intention is to wake digestion slowly and calmly.

Midday

Lunch is the main meal of the day. Steamed rice or noodles, cooked vegetables, and a modest portion of protein such as tofu, fish, or chicken. Vegetables are lightly stir fried or steamed rather than raw. Flavors are balanced, slightly salty, slightly sweet, sometimes a touch sour. You eat until satisfied, not heavy.

Afternoon

If there is a snack, it is simple. Fruit at room temperature, a small handful of nuts, or warm tea. Eating happens before hunger turns into craving.

Evening

Dinner is lighter than lunch. A vegetable soup, leafy greens, perhaps a little rice or sweet potato. Protein is minimal or skipped. The meal ends early enough for digestion to settle before sleep.

In the end, leveling up is not about doing everything at once. It begins with a choice, then continues with small, steady actions repeated each day. Moving gently, eating with awareness, and respecting the body’s natural rhythms create lasting change. Quiet consistency is what carries you forward.

Would you do a challenge like this? If not, what are you doing to change your life in 2026 and beyond?
