It's Difficult To Pick One Of The Many Ways To Earn Money Online Today

Here's How To Find The ONE

By JasonPublished 4 years ago 3 min read

When I left the grueling and demanding routine of a 9-to-5 career to become a stay-at-home parent, I was faced with an even more difficult problem: what to do next.

I switched on my computer. And I dove into the rapidly evolving world of online. The country of opportunities.

Everywhere I looked, I saw possibilities.

Creating low-content books in Bookbolt, selling designs and templates in Canva, selling books in Amazon KDP, making faceless videos on YouTube, TikTok, blogging, becoming a coach, and selling domain names are just a few examples.

I had a whole notepad full of possibilities!

The trouble was that everything appeared to be intriguing, profitable, and feasible.

I'll admit that I spent months digging. All I got was a hole-filled garden! I couldn't think of anything specific to pursue.

I'd spend the entire day doing research. I spent hours on them, went to webinars, and watched videos. As the day progressed, worry crept in: I'd squandered yet another day and ended up with nothing.

Too many alternatives had me preoccupied.

The trouble is, nowadays, you can do so much online that it's quite simple to become perplexed.

Do you ever find yourself in a scenario like this? Are you still hungry after munching on too many things? Do you get a sinking feeling? As you frantically want to hold on to something, you see yourself shrinking as others grow and tower over you?

Enough with the drama.

Deepen your breath. Slowly as possible.

Remember

All of your research time was not in vain. Consider it a time-based investment rather than a monetary one. Consider yourself to be more knowledgeable and alert. You've broadened your knowledge base. I'm sure you'll utilize some of these in the future. Some routes are destined to cross. So, calm!

The people you see have given up. This is their sweet spot right now. Success. However, they had several difficult days as they climbed. The person running next you has already completed 50 laps! After you've completed your course, take a look back.

It becomes second nature after a million repetitions. It's not fair to them or to yourself to expect things to be simple right away. Give them credit where credit is due and begin with the first step.

And what about the alternatives?

How do you get rid of all the cobwebs and concentrate on the one item that would bring the bling? It's rhyming!

Step 1: Rule out a number of possibilities.

I had looked at my possibilities in my notepad objectively. Many people were just there for the purpose of being there. So I began striking them down.

Consider each option and imagine yourself performing it for an extended period of time. Yes, it will be a long and exhausting process. There are no quick fixes. (If you find one, please let me know.)

Step 2: Simmer for the remaining three minutes.

As you cross items off the list one by one, it may feel like you're leaving a partner—one with whom you had high hopes and had imagined your future. However, you must let go.

Finally, you find yourself gazing at a small piece of paper holding the names of those who have faithfully followed you until the finish. You've picked the three people that got to the finish line first.

Congratulations! You have a higher chance of realizing your green ambition.

When you remove certain alternatives, there may be a lot of bloodshed, but it's important. Trust me.

Step 3: Assign each person a specific time window for concentrated work.

You must now enter the ring and become dirty.

Pick one. And then get down to business. Roll up your sleeves and get down to business. You've probably heard others talk about it, telling you how to do it, what you'll need, and so on.

Now is the time to formulate a strategy and put it into action. Hands-on.

Determine a time limit during which you will devote 100% of your attention to this ONE item and will not be sidetracked by anything else, no matter how profitable it appears to be. This is an important step that must be completed.
