How to Master Public Speaking, have you ever gave speech in front a crowd or on public stage ?.

Mastering public speaking is not just putting your ideas in front of all , it can be a transformative skill, helping you confidently convey your ideas and engage your audience.

Public speaking can be intimidating, but with structured preparation and practice, you can turn it into a powerful tool for communication and influence To do that you must follow these steps

Step 1: Overcome Fear

Fear is main Obsticle in Public Speaking, First you have yo understand your fear, what makes you afraid. Identify specific reasons why public speaking makes you nervous (e.g., fear of judgment, lack of preparation).

If you are too nervous in public, Practice deep breathing, Use techniques like box breathing to calm your nerves.

if you still feel scared on stage, Imagine yourself delivering a successful presentation to build confidence, on stage look at one person on the crowd imagine they are your supporters, give speech to them.

Before every Public Speech Practice in front of friends or a mirror before moving to larger audiences.

Example - what happens if you are scared on stage:

This happen when i was 15 i was getting an award for Karate competetion, they call my name, on stage, i was so scared, i dont have to do anything, i have to take award and get back.

because of my stage fear, i ran from there didn't collect my award .later my teacher gave it to me. Later it took years to conquer my stage fear.

Step 2: Your Speech Structure

Before you write down your speech, how you want to present your speech . whether to give information, motivate them persuade, entertain, or inspire.

Some big celebrities start their speech, with simple, then they add jokes to entertain their audience ,and finally they finish with a motivating line.

note;- keep your speech simple, in some cases use storytelling techniques to make your speech more engaging and memorable.

Step 3: Write your Speech

whatever topic you choose to speak. Break your speech into three parts: Introduction ,Body, Conclusion .

Introduction: Craft a strong opening to grab attention. Start with a question, a quote, or an interesting fact. Hook your audience with a story, statistic, or question.

Body: Present 2–3 main points with supporting examples or data.Use examples and anecdotes to illustrate your points.

Conclusion: Summarize your main points and end with a call to action or memorable statement or a thought-provoking statement.

Funny example :what happens if you don't prepare your speech .

i was watching news on tv in that an actor giving Thank you speech to a political leader. When he started the speech he said thank you to all, when he was about to mention political leader name, actor forgets politician name and he said some other name, people are laughing , actor didn't aware of his mistake and continued his speech become fool in front of media and people.

Step 4. Practice,

Who ever said practice makes you perfect ,it is true particularly in mastering public speaking .

To give an extraordinary Speech, you should, Rehearse your speech multiple times. Focus on your tone, pace, and body language.

Record Yourself: Use your phone or camera to identify areas of improvement. some times recording yourself can show your mistakes. rectify your mistakes then make an extraordinary speech .

Make sure your speech is in allotted time frame.

Get feedback from friends or mentors and make necessary adjustments.

Step 5.Engage Your Audience

Maintain eye contact with your audience to build a connection. Connect with individuals in the audience to create rapport. Ask questions or include interactive elements.

Stand tall, use purposeful gestures, and avoid fidgeting. Use gestures and facial expressions to emphasize key points.

keep your voice up, be confident your audience have to understand your speech.

Step 6: Handle Nervousness on Stage

Stage fear is common, after seeing so many people ,most of speakers fails on their first stage speech,

To handle you nervousness, take deep breath ,Start Strong: Memorize your opening lines to ease initial anxiety.

Pauses few seconds to gather your thoughts and emphasize points.

If you make an error, or mistakes, laugh it off ,say things "come on guys i got nervous seeing a pretty lady here" and move on.

Use humor when appropriate to keep the audience interested

Step 7: Seek Advice and feedback

After your speech, request constructive feedback from trusted individuals. Review video recordings of your speeches to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses.

this is most tough part, we some tough questions , silly and some weird questions

Listen carefully to questions before responding.

Stay calm and composed even if faced with tough questions.
