At a party with friends, a friend with a small track record came up with this question.

"There was a very smart monkey tested, people put it in a cage, the cage is welded with iron pillars, iron pillars and iron pillars between just enough to allow the monkey to put out his arm. For two consecutive days, the monkey was not given anything to eat. On the third day, someone brought the monkey a bunch of bananas and put them far away from the monkey, and took a long bamboo pole with an iron hook at the top and put it outside the cage where the monkey could reach." Here he consciously paused to see everyone listening intently, before asking unhurriedly, "What do you think the hungry monkey will do?"

After everyone talked about it, they replied, "The monkey initially naturally went to catch the banana, and when it found that it was impossible for it to catch the banana, it would try to use that bamboo pole with iron hook to help, and the final result was that the monkey relied on the bamboo pole and ate the banana."

He smiled, pretending to shake his head repeatedly: "Wrong, the result is that the monkey because it is too hungry, too eager to eat the bunch of bananas, it is single-mindedly stretching its arms to grab the bananas, so it simply did not notice that there is a bamboo pole around itself that can be used. In the end, the monkey was starved to death alive!"

"What kind of answer is that?"

  "Nonsense!"

The friends all had a feeling of being duped and chided away in unison.

"I tell you," he shouted, impatient, "this is no ordinary question, think about it, what does it say? Too much motivation leads to low intelligence. In other words, when you care too much about something, you tend to make mistakes. And some of them can be fatal mistakes."

When he shouted this, he stopped saying anything and sat down on the stool with his butt ......

He said that a long time ago he fell in love with a girl. The girl had bright eyes and white teeth, and when she smiled, her eyes curved slightly upward, like a crescent moon rippling in the lake, so he couldn't help but look, and so looked, and fell in himself.

He couldn't swim, so he never got out of the lake, and nearly drowned several times. Seeing that the girl has made several boyfriends, he could not do anything about it.

Friends around can not see, asked: you like her so much, why not go after her?

Yes, although he liked the girl to the extreme, but never confessed to her; he quietly wrote countless letters for her, but none of them were sent. For some reason, as soon as he saw her, in front of the crowd of eloquent, agile sharp are turned into a few sentences of unspoken mumbling. As for what flowers, chocolates and other most "cheesy" tricks, he did not even think about it.

This is how a person who was extremely smart and brave ended up watching the beloved girl drift away.

"At that time I thought, I was still too young, not strong enough, not brave enough! Now look, where is the problem of being strong and brave?" He stopped shaking his head and just sighed softly.

We were speechless for a moment.

In fact, what is not like that? When we want to fall in love too much and want the one we love to love us as much; when we want to be promoted too much and think that our years of hard work can only be rewarded by this one chance; when we want to be rich too much because all the prosperity around us is dazzling; when we want ...... too much whenever we think this way, we naturally become Whenever we think so, we naturally become fearful, lose the usual level, and even inevitably make afterwards to regret the foolish things.

So, when we care too much about the momentary gains and losses, let ourselves desperately into the bull's-eye, or in a mess of muddy feet deep in the time, may allow themselves to quietly think about the starving monkey - it could have, was able to eat the bunch of bananas.
