Mugshots provide an image of a person who is charged with a criminal offense. Every person who is arrested for a crime has a photo taken for a mugshot. Most mugshots show people at their worst moments -getting arrested is never fun -but sometimes, they cause us to laugh and take a second look. Even the criminals in the mugshots on this list had to laugh when they finally saw themselves. On April 6, 2017, Noel E. Dawson Jr. was charged by Toledo Police with domestic violence, assault, failure to disclose personal information, and criminal damaging after he chased a family member with a hatchet and swung the weapon at him.

Brandy Lerma

In 2017, Brandy Lerma was arrested by Palm Beach County Police and charged with DUI after an officer spotted her driving erratically.

It was no moo-stake that Michelle Evans was arrested and charged by Ohio Police with disorderly conduct in September 2018. The woman chased children around the street and ran out into traffic.

It was her 50th arrest.

Michelle wore the same cow outfit that she wore at the time of the arrest to her court hearing and told people in the courtroom to "suck her utters."

Jeremy Garnier

51-year-old Garnier apparently has a thing for the Joker.

William Bottoms Jr.

Bottoms, a 29-year-old convicted murderer, has his entire face covered in tattoos. Wonder how anyone could ever pick him out of a lineup? During Bottoms’ trial, his lawyer asked the jury if his client’s appearance had any bearing on the conviction.

InFebruary 2014, Oakland Raiders Quarterback Desmond Bryant was arrested and charged with criminal mischief after his neighbors said he caused a commotion at their home while he was drunk.

Angelo Martinez

When Angelo Martinez decided that he would steal a car, he did not expect that the group of men he held at gunpoint would be football players, but that is exactly what happened in Albuquerque, NM in 2017. Martinez asked the men for a ride and they obliged. Once they arrived at his home, he pulled the gun and demanded them out of the car. The men beat Martinez and called the police. He had a note with him that read, “Give me the keys to your wip and nobody get heart. I know where you live so don't make me kill.

Kevin Gibson

Kevin Gibson, AKA Half-Beard, is no stranger to Miami, Florida police. He has a handful of arrests under his belt.

His mugshot went viral in 2016 when police arrested him for possession of marijuana.

He was arrested again in 2017, this time charged with felony narcotics possession. Both of his mugshots.

David Allen Pete

Pete's mugshot may cause a bit of laughter but his criminal charges certainly won't. Pete was convicted of murder. DNA from the crime scene matched Pete's. Prosecutors said Pete planned to drag the body home but was too tired and drunk.

Ronaldo Silva

If only Ronaldo Silva knew how to walk in those damn heels, he might be a free man today. Unfortunately for him, he caught the attention of a cop after he escaped Penedo Prison in Brazil because he was so unsteady on his feet. Dressed in drag, Ronaldo made it as far as downtown before he was hauled back to prison to serve his sentence.
