The Miss Gloria Hour with Guest Dharrsheena Raja Segarran
The Adventures of Miss Gloria Cupidon #16

The Opening Monologue
“So, I was told today that my ratings dipped a bit on Spotify. Last week’s episode pulled in 2 million streams, compared to 2.5 million for the debut with Lil Hammertoe. I’m not supposed to talk about this publicly, but what the hoot, I’m Gloria, I break rules. Oliver Olivier and Jason Pooper Scooper are watching the numbers closely. After the sixth episode, this is the fifth, they’ll decide whether this show is a safe investment for an additional 22 episodes. If they see any slippage, the show will be wrapped up, and they’ll ship me back to Yucaipa, California faster than a corpse in a shallow grave.
People, I really don’t want to go back to my mobile home in Yucaipa. Debbie and I have been enjoying the luxury condominium at Century Plaza. They treat me like a queen there.
Rihanna drops by to visit me. She’s been teaching me some of her bad girl tricks, or so she thinks. What Rihanna doesn’t realize is that I’m the original bad girl. I’ve been teaching her a thing or two.
Gloria Introduces This Week's Guest
Anywho, this week’s guest is disturbingly interesting. Trust me, I know disturbing, I once dated a mortician who kept souvenirs. This week’s guest comes all the way from Malaysia, her name is Dharrsheena Raja Segarran. The eerily soft spoken Dharrsheena is one of the most popular creators on the Vocal Media platform. They call her the Mistress of Horror, and for good reason. She knows where the bodies are buried. Let’s give a chilling welcome to the Mistress of the Dark: Dharrsheena.”

☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
“Whoa, oh ho, Miss Dark. The moment you pull a guillotine into the scene is the moment I tear your eyes out with my claws.”
“Oh, Miss Gloria, you haven’t a clue who you’re dealing with.”

Things became heated, so the director, Rafael Cruzado, stepped in. “Come on, women. Stop this catfight. Retract your claws, we have a show to do.” Both Gloria and Dharrsheena sneered but complied.
☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
“Please, have a seat, Dharrsheena. Let’s talk. What’s important to you?”
“Honestly, Gloria, money.” Dharrsheena tilted her chin with a sly smirk.
“Money, aha. Gold digger, are you?”
“Not necessarily. If the right granddaddy with a cool mill or two comes along, you never know.”
“I see. You’re my kinda gal. You’re the kitten, I’m the cougar.”
Dharrsheena giggled and purred like a kitty. “Meow. The only problem is men just get in the way. I’d rather send them to Leatherface, I’m sure he’s hungry.”
“Oh ho ho,” Gloria laughed sharply. “I’ve got a few to send to Leatherface myself. Between us, we could keep him fed for ten years.”
Gloria and Dharrsheena shared a fiendish chuckle.
☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
“Let’s talk about your writing. You write mostly horror, though honestly, I thought your diary was scary enough. Where does your inspiration come from?”
“It comes from a dark place, Gloria. My psychiatrist said I get intrusive thoughts, violent and harmful.”
“Psychiatrist? I knew you were a nut case.”
“Gloria, please don’t trigger me. I have a hatchet in my briefcase and a knife in my hair. I’m not afraid to use either one if need be.”
“Am I going to have to pull my razor claws back out, Dharrsheena?”
Rafael yelled from backstage, “Cut the catfight now or I will shut the show down immediately.”
“Okay, okay,” Gloria snarked back, “we’ll play nice, like two little curly‑haired girls in a sandbox.”
☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
“So, tell me, Dharrsheena, how did you end up writing for Vocal Media?”
“I was on TikTok, and a friend of mine posted a link to a story she wrote. It was a great story. During this time my psychiatrist encouraged me to do something I love, because I had attempted suicide recently. I figured I could relieve my aggressions by writing on Vocal, and the rest is history.”
“Oh, Dharrsheena! There you go, you got me. The heartstrings are pulled. Come here, baby girl, give me a hug.”

The Closing
“I want to say, this episode was rough for me. When Dharrsheena mentioned that she attempted suicide, I became choked up. People, those of you in my live audience and those streaming us, I want to reach out to you. I lost a friend back in 1958 due to suicide. She was only 27 years old. Back then we didn’t know much about mental health. But now there are many services available.
If anybody out there is considering suicide or wanting to hurt themselves, please search for your local suicide helpline and call them immediately. Here in the United States you can dial 988, or in Malaysia call 1‑800‑18‑0066.
Thank you for tuning in today, my friends. God bless you, and I love you. Sayonara.”

Just to give a little more detail on how Dharrsheena found Vocal Media here is a direct quote from her:
“I first heard about Vocal on TikTok. Hannah Pistoia, a content creator, was talking about how she entered a writing contest on Vocal, Return of the Night Owl challenge. She asked us to take a look at her story, “She’s the One,” if we're interested. I did and I loved her story. She then became one of the Runner Ups in that challenge.”

This was so entertaining and so thoughtful of you❤️ We all love Dharrsheena ❤️
Gloria’s sharp humor mixed with Dharrsheena’s dark charm made this one of the most entertaining installments yet.
Amusing story & interesting hearing how Dharrsheena joined Vocal! Well done addressing such important health issues too.✅
This was amazing Rick-Congrats on leaderboard
Nothing short of fantastic, Rick! Entertaining and a wonderful inclusion of Dhar. She truly is a Vocal Media backbone and such a lovely soul. Congratulations on your leadership board placement❣👏
Nice! You took a different direction with this one. An unexpected direction that started with laughter and ended on a serious note. Something we shouldn't ignore. Super congrats to you, RHC! Your respect meter was already high and just went up a few notches...
Wooohooooo congratulations on your Leaderboard placement! 🎉💖🎊🎉💖🎊
Ms Gloria gets a small nod for herself and suggestions for the L/B business.
Ok. Dhar made it to the show, she so deserves her time in the spotlight. D is the most genuine person on Vocal, on or off the L/B, she still reads our stories without fuss or bother. Three cheers for D and Ms. G. Great episode Rick.
Sorry I just now got to this, but what a great story and interview, Rick and Dharrsheena! I loved it a lot!
I always knew Dharr's hair was too beautiful to be true, I suspected there was something in it.... 😀 You found the best guest for this story. ❤️ She's the best!
I adore Dharrsheena!! She is one of my besties and someone I'm not afraid to share twisted late night memes with...well, because it's morning where she is.
lol. I love Dharrsheena so much. I think she's probably one of the quiet celebrities of Vocal, and she got that way not just because of her horror stories, but how endearing she is. She's always supporting others, cheering them on when they need it. She's one of the kindest souls around. And thank EVERY star and Deity in the universe she is still here today. Dharr, I hope you know you have friends on here. Even though we are oceans apart - I would fight for you however I could, even if that means just being a supportive friend. Don't ever feel alone. Great article, I love it so much!
Congrats to you and Dhar for this episode! 💜
We all love our Dharr! Such a great banter between those two! And so wonderful to address mental health. Bravo!
I love this story. GLORIA is a good girl and funny. Thank you for sharing
This is so wild and entertaining! You did a fantastic job with this whole monologue and interview format. The way Gloria jumps from stressing about her ratings to name dropping Rihanna is hilarious. The back and forth with Dharrsheena is perfect too. The whole thing goes from edgy, funny banter to a genuinely serious, caring closing message.
Great job, Rick! Gloria and Dharr make a great team, they could do a podcast.
This is hilarious, Rick! The animated sequence was both a treat and a howl. Love, love, love that Gloria interviewed Vocal’s Queen of the Night. Great stuff!
That's right, Gloria, you must keep on breaking rules. "Faster than a corpse in a shallow grave" 🤯 💀 Rihanna has a lot to be thankful for, lol. "The morticians kept souvenirs." Oh stars help my soul, because Gloria has taken it all the way to Laughterville once again. I knew that was Dharr the moment I saw the image. In fact, I saw her before I read her name, lol. [Pressed play]
Humour and public service. Darsheena and Rick you should both be congratulated on bringing this into the Vocal world.
I love Dharshee and I loved this Gloria interview: funny, solid cat fight and I enjoyed the Dark humor! Also, hugs to Dharshee, all my love to you. I understand intrusive thoughts, and suicide, as I attempted to kill my self as a teenager too. I’m so happy you found writing a healthy outlet to process your pain, anger & feelings.
Dharrsheena v Ms. Gloria...great episode Rick. I am so happy that she is here with us and becoming the star of both shows...Dhar is sweetness and light under all the dark. Three cheers for both young ladies.
The video gave me a giggle! It is always a positive to bring attention to mental health awareness. I am going to have to go back and look at more of these Gloria show bits, this was very entertaining.
I love Dharrsheena, it was great to see her star in one of your episodes! The video is hilarious!
