The Only Thing We Have to Meme are Memes Themselves. Top Story - August 2023.
I've been away for a while. In the past, I have authored a lot of short stories here, especially horror and sci-fi. I also write poetry. I have an FYI series entitled Top 10 Prophets, šš Prognosticators, & Visionaries. And last year, I compiled a slew of various memes, developing a kind of comedy series, long before Vocal created this glorious Humor Community.

Are We Out of F*cks Yet?. Top Story - August 2023. Content Warning.
Disclaimer: I use the word āfuckā fairly often in private conversation, and quite loudly on occasion. (Just ask Pam.) I also use various terms that relate to fellatio and incest, and both male and female genitalia. I'm reasonably sure that I've used āThe 'F' Wordā somewhere in my Vocal stories. This is a satirical look at the growing prevalence of the term in stories I read on this platform. It may cost me some friends. It's bound to cause some resentment. All I can ask is that you read it with your sense of humor active. If you make it to the end (Don't cheat, dammit!) you might even find a fun little surprise.

Challenge me to write #100 things in 20 minutes?!
Edit: Correction of grammatical and spelling errors. Alright, let's go on and see about this challenge that Judey made. 100 thoughts in 20 minutes? Doesn't sound too bad. Hopefully by the end of it I won't have too many thoughts that are overly similar. I got my cellphone right next to me, with the timer set.

Learning to Shut Up
A quick note: The original version of this story was written for the Passing Ships challenge and abandoned because I couldn't find my old survey crew photos. I still haven't found them, but rather than let this go to waste, I dusted it off today and after some inner debate, decided to share it, in the hope that someone gets a kick out of it.
