The Punishment
This happened in 2005 when I was in the 12th grade. My school had both boarders as well as days scholars. There were 12 students in my class and four of us lived in the boy's hostel. Since hostel life was usually boring, we'd do all sorts of shit to make our lives a little interesting. So this incident took place on a fine Sunday during games time. A group of us were playing cricket (sports was seasonal in our school and this was the cricket season). Our school had 2 basketball courts and a big ground. Since the ground was a little further away from school, a group of us were playing cricket on one of the basketball courts.

Are We Out of F*cks Yet?. Top Story - August 2023. Content Warning.
Disclaimer: I use the word “fuck” fairly often in private conversation, and quite loudly on occasion. (Just ask Pam.) I also use various terms that relate to fellatio and incest, and both male and female genitalia. I'm reasonably sure that I've used “The 'F' Word” somewhere in my Vocal stories. This is a satirical look at the growing prevalence of the term in stories I read on this platform. It may cost me some friends. It's bound to cause some resentment. All I can ask is that you read it with your sense of humor active. If you make it to the end (Don't cheat, dammit!) you might even find a fun little surprise.

Mark: The Clumsy Artist Is In Love.
A long time ago, in a special small town called Idobe, there lived a young man named Mark. Mark is an ordinary man with an extraordinary sense of humor. He loves to make people laugh and has a talent for finding humor in the most innocuous situations. However, there was one thing that made his heart flutter, it was a young woman named Sera. Sera is the epitome of luxury and splendor. Her charming smile could light up a room, and Mark couldn't resist the chance to be completely mesmerized by her. Anyway, there was a small problem. Mark has the uncanny ability to turn the most heart-pounding situations into impromptu performances. Whether it's sliding on a banana strip or making unusual faces. However, not quite set to trump Sera. He realizes that humor is his closest companion, whether or not he makes him the owner of moments of humiliation from time to time. Armed with his wits and charm, he is determined to make Sera laugh, no matter what that means going through the silliest of situations. One fine evening, Mark devised a plan to fool Sera. He accepted a job as a comedian at the neighborhood carnival. Wearing larger-than-usual shoes, a polka dot suit, and a red nose, Mark could barely contain his frenzy. He's so frustrated, his messy acting will be a comical failure in the piece. As the show began, Mark staggered his way through a series of cyclical schedules, filling the carnival tent with loud laughter. In any case, while it was the perfect occasion for its great finale, a drag-and-drop action with bright lights, everything instantly degenerates. Lights flew here and there, causing the crowd to panic. Mark, in his typical design, found a way to trip over himself, entangled with mixed balls and spinning discs. The group burst into laughter, but Mark's face turned red. Despite this legendary disappointment, Mark did not lose confidence. He realized he had to try one more time. He chose to take Sera to a sincere barbecue at the amusement park. With a crate full of delicious treats, he builds a cozy blanket under a tree, hoping for a remarkable achievement. When they collapsed, Mark took out a bouquet of roses, and a squirrel suddenly appeared. The squirrel, sensing an opportunity to be naughty, decides to snatch the flowers from Mark's hand and rush to the tree. Mark got up and started chasing the squirrel with Sera nearby. They raced through the recreation area, Mark's hard work to capture the squirrel only added to the commotion. In the end, the tired squirrel threw the flowers away, leaving Mark gasping and covered in grass. Sera, however, couldn't stop laughing.
