Winners and Losers... by Melody Fox (aka the Princess of Rock)

Many of you know exactly what I mean and what I'm talking about ...

Saying these things about Winners and Losers, please don't get me wrong: I'm not snubbing anyone, just pointing out a few facts.

Although I have *lost* many things during my life, I am inclined to say that I am more of a winner than a loser. Should I thank my guardian angels, God (or a Higher Entity), and maybe, myself, too, just a bit? There are many people who are losers, and I have met several of them, one, in particular, an ex boyfriend of mine.

I feel tenderness for him, actually, because it's not his fault. It's not that he does it on purpose! Or am I just being nice? It's just the way *He* is...Remember that song by Billy Joel? *Just the Way You Are*? Only that the lyrics are romantically knitted together, and have a totally different meaning...The title of that track is a punch line for this guy, let's face it! or, for people like him. Lol He's just a loser, poor thing, and also happens to bring bad karma, sometimes, to a lot of the people surrounding him, or in his life, including myself. As I said, it's not totally his fault, but he could do something about it, if only he tried, at least I think...Like being less absent-minded or a wee bit more careful and thoughtful. Think twice, or even more, before you do anything! I know, I always try to think nice of everyone, but this guy seems to be a hopeless case, and there are so many like him.

Let me give just one example~there are others but they're too many to count, and this is definitely not a witness stand, nor a judging place! I remember, once, I was really very upset (definitely more than once!) over something: that time that he clicked numerous times on one of my blogs! Google Ad Sense had accepted my blog getting earnings for clicks on this or that promo page. I was thrilled and excited, because they do not accept every blog! The only thing is, they did not want you to click yourself, or even advertise about it, out in the open, with your friends/Fans/Followers/subscribers. It was something that was supposed to be *natural*, and not requested. Well, during one of our conversations, I had told him how the system worked and that I would get earnings from clicks from people around the universe. Just talking at random I said that people shouldn't exaggerate on the clicks because then *they* (the AdSense teams) get suspicious, thinking that you were trying to get more than necessary, in an unlawful way.

Well, one day, he clicked like a hundred times on something! the dummy! and I didn't find out until I got a report from Google saying that they were going to terminate and suspend my chance of gaining with them, unless I explained what had happened and why all those *suspicious* (to them) clicks...Holy $h*t! what next?! and it had to be a good explanation. There's no fooling around with them! I didn't even know at the time what my (now ex) boyfriend had done, so I pleaded my case, explaining I didn't know what had happened, and that maybe some very fond Fan/Follower was probably trying to help me, and that I didn't know what they had done, nor was I responsible for their actions...which was true. Anyway, to no avail...they (Google guyz) wrote back saying my explanation was not good enough for them, and that I was cheating, which was NOT true! How could I know what had really happened? I was just assuming...anyway, I was so sad and hurt. Then, just by chance I asked him if he had done something, and, to my horror and chagrin, he said he had clicked numerous times on different pages! (I'm talking about all the companies/brands/businesses who were advertising on my blog, obviously, not on my written pages). For example, if I talked about vinyls, all kinds of vinyl stores would advertise on that page. If I posted a picture or two of flowers, then all kinds of flower and plants businesses would pop up on my feed, which was awesome! Anyway, Google KNOWS everything, and they can trace anything and everything down, right to the source... I was flabbergasted and very very upset. Let's say I was extremely angry! Ruined with a click by a *retard*... and not being able to get it back. Google Ad Sense are very very strict! To a certain extent they were right, but they kind of exaggerated their choice in my regards, in my opinion...Not everyone is a cheater to that extent!

What ticked me off even more about my ex was that he didn't even apologize! the nerve! Apologies are never due with him...

Anyway...

To be a winner also means to have a certain attitude towards life and one's surroundings... If you are pessimistic from the start, or think that whatever you do won't work out, you're already in that *loser* lane...snap out of it, and get going! turn around and start over again! be perseverant! it's not so easy, but it's not that difficult, either... Surround yourself with positive minded people: losers have that bad touch to take you down with them. Or at least, without knowing, they try! Therefore, go to the winning path: go with similar minded, winning folks! If you're a solitary person, you can also chose not to stick around with others, but be enhanced with your own regenerating light and power... There are so many people who hang around, taking my positive energy, which is fine, but who do I recharge from? Well, considering that I'm an alien, I get the energy from my own self...Lol

However, the losers are also lucky... I think They are protected by a higher power: I've been a loser too, but am most fortunate to have been more of a Winner! or so has fate decided for me.

Anyway, maybe the approach to being less of a Loser, is to look at life, and things/events that surround you, in a more optimistic way: try not to give up, regardless on how difficult it may seem. That goes for the Winner, too! In the end, Perseverance pays! not that one will get money out of it, but at least some *winner* items will surface to the top...
