What to Do in Order to Have a Clean and Tidy Bathroom
Actionable advice.
There are bathrooms and bathrooms, some small and crowded, others large and bright. Regardless of square meters, a bathroom must be clean and disinfected. Some women have cleanliness in their blood and do it perfectly, without a trace of fatigue.
There are also women for whom cleaning is a chore and the bathroom is the most hated. Here's how to put one together for use with your bathroom.
Did you know you have shampoo from last year in your bathroom closet? Probably not, because in the meantime you bought a few more and put them in the same place. The bathroom often exceeds its basic uses and becomes a storage space for all family members.
Every time you wanted to start ordering, didn't you know where to start? Here are 10 ideas for putting everything right:
Throw away everything that has expired
First of all, find those products that you need to get rid of permanently, not just put them aside. Check the shelf life of medicines and cosmetics. You don't have to be melancholy when you have to throw away your favorite makeup because it's expired. Rather, think about making room for new products.
Hang the magazines
Hang a magazine bag on the wall next to the toilet. It is a much better idea than keeping them on the water tank and it is preferable to be as close as possible to the reader.
Arrange the cupboard drawers
Separate the spaces from the drawers to store hair bands, hairpins, ear sticks, safety pins, and anything else you threw in the bathroom cabinet. Imagine how simple it would be if you didn't have to look for them all in a tangled pile.
Say "no" to samples
Do you tend to keep all the soaps or shampoo bottles from the hotels where you are staying when you go on vacation? Even if you want to use them for the next trip, you will not have the opportunity, because even there you will find samples of soap and shampoo in the bathroom!
Tidy up the cupboard under the sink
The closet under the sink tends to become the place where we cram all kinds of cleaning products and, of course, forget about them. Sort out the ones you don't need anymore and put the remaining ones in a box or a bucket with handles, to make it easier to handle when cleaning the bathroom.
Arrange the kid's toys
Arrange the children's rubber toys in a mesh bag to allow them to dry after sitting in the tub full of water. For soap, shampoo, shower gel, shaving gel, and other beauty products, look for a stand that either attaches to the wall next to the shower or can be placed on the corner of the tub.
Keep it clean
Do not clean everywhere in one day in the bathroom. Disinfect occasionally and wipe a corner daily. In this way, you save time and effort for longer periods.
Wrap the wires of electrical appliances
Always tighten electrical appliances, such as dryer, hair straightener, curler, razor, etc. Wrap the cord around the appliance, but don't forget to let them cool down first.
Use the space above
Place a shelf or grill on top of the toilet to have extra storage space. You can put towels, soaps, or some decorations to brighten up the room.
Set a day a week for general cleaning and disinfection.
On this day, arm yourself with a pair of headphones, attached to any gadget that can play your favorite music and a pair of gloves. Remove all objects from the shelves, shelves, sink, tub and place them in a large container. Get rid of them and continue your quiet cleaning.
Start with what you spend most of your time with, the bathtub, the shower, the tiles. Leave the easiest ones at the end. Don't forget the glass in the toothbrush, the laundry basket, or the washing machine. Order in the bathroom cabinet and throw away expired products. Set aside 2 minutes in the end to admire your work. You will have reasons to start again next week.
Recap:
- Clean the toilet with a brush after each use and teach the family members to do the same. It takes a maximum of one minute.
- Wipe the sink and faucet daily, otherwise, they become dull and look clogged. It doesn't take you more than 2 minutes, so sorry I didn't have time, pica.
- Wipe the mirror as many times as needed. Mirrors are decorative objects only if they are very clean.
- Wash the mop well, squeeze it and dry it.
- Don't get out of the tub or shower until you've cleaned it.
- Put used towels in the laundry basket.
