Things Africans Do That Would Be Considered Racist If They Weren't Black People
The time is now to start correcting bad behavior if only Black Africans would own up to them

I have written about this so much, I've decided to start working on a book about race and racism in African countries. Most people think it, (racism and Anti-Blackness) happens only in North and Southern African countries.
The fact that I've been speaking with several Africans who have been very unhappy with the way things are shaping up in their countries. However when you speak on issues with them, most say, "nothing will ever change so why talk about it or try to do anything?"
Black Africans are very quick to call a country or other people racist outside of Africa, or even Northern African countries or South Africa.
When the war in Ukraine broke out and the countries bordering Ukraine refused to allow Black people into their countries as they tried to flee the war, Poland one of the most notable. Now you see I typed Black people? Well Africans went to social media and proclaimed they weren't allowing Africans to leave.
Well many Black people lived and studied in Ukraine and were also not allowed to gross the border, one woman was even a citizen of a European country. Indian and Chinese students were also treated poorly, were refused to get onto transport as well as leave the country into neighboring countries.
Black Africans went to social media, they had live chats and many news outlets reported on these incidents as if they were the only people being refused transport as well as exit from Ukraine. This was infuriating to anyone and everyone that has humanity.
But I noticed that many people wanted to be included in their groups, one woman posted on Twitter that her friend was from Jamaica. She asked would she (her friend), be able to contact their platform who at the time were trying to provide assistance to Black Africans.
I watced a video in which I will share here, that speaks on why so many Black African immigrants to the United States bring with them White Supremacy. Their hatred and discrimination for other Black people especially African Americans.
Now I want to show you several examples of racism that exist within Black Africans mentality. Some of these issues are things that Black Africans say, do and post about African Americans, others are things that they directly do or think about people who aren't Black.
1. You aren't worthy of being called Black if you weren't born where Black Africans were born. White people in the United States have a history of demeaning other white people. Even racist terms like 'cracker' and 'redneck' were created by wealthier white people to insult working class or poor white people.
Black Africans are doing this same thing to other Black people especially Black Americans. Even calling them insulting names like "Akata" to humiliate and demean them, (US).
In a video I took myself this Ghanaian woman is trying to tell me that I'm not a "real Black person," because I don't speak her language nor was I born in an African country. She was telling me that fair skin (light skin), Africans were considered Black but that Black people born outside of Ghana or Africa weren't.
2. You are thugs, criminals and savages, the things many Africans say about African Americans and white people from European countries. The fact that many Africans lump African Americans in with being white has a long history, many simply call it jealousy.
Even the cultural practices of African Americans is being called white, in a ranting video an African woman called white people the forefathers of African Americans. She really thinks that African Americans are not Black people, her unprovoked rant is some what common from Black Africans.
Below is a video of a Kenyan in the United States insulting African Americans calling them animals , rude and savages.
3. Making fun of others who are biracial for some reason is common practiec in many African countries. There are so many abandoned babies in several countries that are Chinese and African. In Kenya this has happened so much so that there are documentaries about this issue.
Black Africans bullying these children often, no one seems to think this is horrible. In this video below, Ghanaians are bullying their own granddaughter who they call Ama China to mock her for being biracial.
4. Every social media post about white people, they have to mention that they are white people. Black Africans create so much social media content just to single out, bully or humiliate people that they think are white. In Kenya & East African countries they seem to commonly mention "Mzungu" meaning white. Whenever a Kenyan has a lover that is not Black.
Again I used the word think, because many Black Africans think even light skinned, non-biracial people are all white people. It has happened to me in every African country that I've lived in, the bully, stopped by Ghana police and immigration officers as they either collected bribery money or thought they would because they thought I was white.
5. Go back to your own country! I have been told several times in Ghana to get the fuck out of my country, when I mentioned this to Ghanaians I was always told it was my fault.
When a Bolt driver refused to speak to me, thinking I was white, after I asked him why he wasn't talking to me, he replied, "I hate you people!" The driver thought I was white, I asked him who is my people, he sat silently, when I finally realized he thought I was white I laughed. I then asked, "Oh you think I'm white?"
This Bolt driver, looked me up and down, he stared at my skin from my legs, to my face, then said to me, "get the fuck out of my car!" Which made me laugh even harder because he was angry that I had the nerve to tell him that I wasn't a white person. This sadly happened a lot to me in Ghana. '
Ghanaians Say “Go Back To Your Country!” — Man Posts He’s Told 5 to 10 Times Daily to Leave Ghana
The xenophobia, racism and colorism in Ghana is constant, yet many Black Americans & Black to Africa folks refuse to believe it exists. Ghanaians who continue to claim they are welcoming despite not being foreigners in their own country. The government via Ghana immigration and police enforce and promote xenophobia with public adverts.
While on Twitter I came across a post from someone that appears to be Arab, possibly one of Ghana’s many Lebanese citizens. He posts about being told to go back to his own country at least 5–10 times a day. He even says that people have called Ghana Immigration on him.
Since this man is a popular person on Twitter many Ghanaians jumped to his defense and apologized. When I RT’ed his post added that I understand the same treatment, even though many Ghanaians want to travel to America they’re very hateful to Blacks whom are lighter skin also saying we aren’t really Black.

6. Black Africans denying that you are a legal citizen of an African country if your skin isn't dark or you aren't a Black person.
This again often happened to me, I wasn't legally allowed in Ghana for some reason because of my light skin. However here is a video of a child posting about being Ghanaian, even though she spoke several languages native to the country they some didn't care.
Sadly this is one of the biggest things that racists white people do to Africans all over the world, yes even Arab and Asaians also do this to Black Africans.
I've written often about the colorism and anti-Blackness from Egypt but the Anti-Blackness from Ghanaians calling each other 'darky & blacky' is often ignored.
The fact once again that Ghanaians deny colorism is atypical of the life I live everyday, especially after writing a book about my time in Ghana.
7. Bullying people for the complexion of their skin, either they're too dark or too light.
8. Many Africans deny that Africans sold other Africans into slavery. Even the fact that Black Africans owned other Black Africans, there is the narrative that Black Africans treated their "slaves" as if they were family.
This is the same narrative that white Americans try to push onto African Americans, often saying white Americans slave owners were kind to their enslaved.
9. During Covid-19 many Africans in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya were beating Asian and Idian people. They blamed them for the spread of the virus.
Many of the videos of Ghanians beating a group of people they thought were from China have been removed. Even a video from the American Ambassador made a video which I can no longer locate.
In Kenya a group of Kenyans beat a Chinese man they encountered shopping at a local market. There were also several incidents that took place in Nigeria as well. Again all the Google searches make it seem these attacks only took place in the United States.
I could write endless examples about this, however this is why I am working to place these issues in a larger body of work, to create a book about the racism of Black Africans.
Thank you for reading.
