I've written about this topic several times, it makes me so angry, the fact that Facebook allows such graphic violence is even more infuriating. Facebook always proclaims that their policies are always the same for the platform worldwide, however it is not true.

When living in other countries, I've created Facebook profiles to prove this same point, every time these accounts are exposed to such gruesome and graphic images and videos of violence. Dead bodies are so common, I even learned 2 times about the deaths of my Kenyan in-laws from seeing their dead bodies posted on Facebook.

My husband's uncle's body was photographed on a metel slab in what looked like a hospital morgue. The other photo was my 23-year old brother-in-law Wilson, he had drank rat poison to take his own life. One of his friends had decided that it was a great idea to show him laying dead in the hospital.

In a deadly crash in East Legon, Accra Ghana, not to far from where I once lived, a 16-year old drove his car into the back of another car, killing 2 young girls. The 16-year old was the son of a wealthy minister in Ghana, he was driving without a license. He was speeding and the car was stopped that he ran into the back of.

This is very infuriating but even worse, the Ghana Fire service filmed their dead bodies, you could clearly see one of the young girls that was burned to death. It was even like you could see the pain on her face, it was not even the most graphic video or photo I've seen posted on Facebook in an African country.

⚠ East Legon Crash Claims Two Lives as Vehicles Burst Into Flames | Viewer Discretion Advised

A tragic car crash in East Legon, Accra, on Saturday, has resulted in the deaths of two young women. The incident occurred when a Jaguar vehicle collided with an Acura, causing a catastrophic impact that knocked down a wooden electric pole. Fallen cables reportedly sparked a fire that engulfed both vehicles.

In addition to the fatalities, three other individuals, including the drivers of both cars, sustained severe injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.

Emergency services promptly responded to the scene, but the tragic loss has left the community in shock. Viewer discretion is advised due to the graphic nature of the incident.

To make things even worse, several Ghana newsoutlets share this same video which shows the burned body of someone's child. Unlike Ghana Fire Services this time Citi 97.3 put a warning in the title of the video, however graphic videos like this, Facebook claims they are against their policy.

The video is no longer found on the Ghana Fire Services Facebook aprofile, however they have uploaded another video of the dead body of a driver's assistant being removed from a deadly crash site.

Below here is the video, with the dead body covered to the best of my ability. I didn't want anyone to see the burnt body of the young lady.

To make things worse they went onto the news in Ghana to claim this was posted for teaching purposes. Not to teach Ghanaians about driving to fast but to show what they do during their jobs. This was not needed as they already post videos of them fighting fires without dead bodies.

The Head of Public Relations at the Ghana National Fire Service, DO2 Desmond Ackah, defends their decision to go live on Facebook while attempting to douse a fire which had started following a tragic car crash at East Legon.

A Ghanaian who was also very disturbed by these posts sent me a screenshot of a post that he located on social media. Within the post the Ghana Fire Services defended their actions of posting several videos of dead bodies. Below is a screenshot of this post from another social media user.
