Ana was tired, she was ready to find the one, but every date she went on was the same, started with dinner, then a movie, or occasionally bowling, and then they expected to stay the night, and when she refused, the search was on for the next guy. She always hoped they'd be understanding that she didn't want that boundary crossed yet, but alas she was always disappointed when that wasn't the case.

She was just about to give up, so tired of the same old thing happening on a repeat loop, when she received a message from her friend Jackie. Jackie said that her husband had a friend that was going through the same thing that she was and had seen her Facebook profile and wanted the chance to take her out on a date. Jackie vouched for him, that he was a great guy and different from all the others and made her promise to at least think about it. She gave Ana his number. His name was Matt and she said he would be waiting for her text.

Ana was a bit unsure. She had known Jackie since elementary school and knew that she wouldn't set her up with someone she was unsure of. She decided, after going back and forth in her head about what to do, to go ahead and go for it. She called him, and they introduced themselves to each other and ended up chatting for a couple of hours. The conversation ended with her agreeing to go on a date, and him telling her to be ready Saturday night at 7, and that he would do all the planning.

Saturday around 5 Jackie came over, obviously knowing what the plan was and helped her choose her outfit. She picked out a cute but semi fancy summer dress and stiletto high heels. Jackie curled her hair and pinned it up in a partial up-do. She said it was so it wouldn't get in her face. She wouldn't say anymore. At 7, a black Mercedes pulled up in front of her townhouse and out stepped Matt wearing a black tuxedo. He was tall and very handsome.

He held her hand every minute while they were in the car. The night started with a dance class, salsa dancing. She was so surprised, but not, she had done ballet growing up so she picked it up very well. He was picking it up quite well also, she suspected that he must have some dance background as well. After an hour and a half of dancing they made their way to a very nice restaurant that had outdoor seating available. He got a table and ordered drinks while she went to the ladies room for a moment to freshen up. She came back and there was a bottle and two glasses of merlot sitting on the table. She sat down and smiled and as she took picked up her glass and took a drink she couldn't help thinking that maybe, finally, this could be the relationship she had been searching for all along.
