the Vocal Hunger Games
They had all come so far. Each from their own districts, with their own unique (weird, kooky, dark, inspiring, humorous) perspectives on the world. They had so much to say, to the world and to each other. They made friends, formed tribes and communities, and encouraged each other not to quit. When the chips were down, they commiserated, rallied, ranted, or plotted -- but still they did it together. They saw how beautiful each of them were as individuals: how they enriched the world with their wordcrafted magic-tricks, conjured out of thin air and marvelously inscribed on the internet big-screen for all to see.

A Heart Too Kind
In the heart of Cambodia, where the Mekong River flows with a sense of calm and serenity, I embarked on a journey that would forever change my perception of trust and kindness. It was a journey marred by deception and betrayal, yet it was also a journey that reaffirmed my faith in the inherent goodness of people.

Discovering Gratitude:
As the sun rises over the lush jungles of Mondulkiri Province, I find myself in a state of profound gratitude. Living here in Cambodia with my wife, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, has taught me the power of appreciating the simple things in life. Every morning, we wake up to the symphony of nature - the chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves, and the distant roar of a waterfall. The air is fresh, filled with the scent of damp earth and blooming flowers. As I sip my homemade grown coffee, I can't help but feel a deep sense of thankfulness for this opportunity to experience life in its purest form.

The worker and dirty water
That morning, I had a very important meeting in the conference hall of our company. I put on my best suit and left the house. I was walking to the street to go to the taxi stand. It was a mild spring weather, the sidewalk was crowded and people were moving. A van was parked on the side of the street and a worker was emptying the cargo in the loading area. The water fountain on the side of the street was full and filled with water almost to the edges of the fountain. The water collected in the reservoir was not clean at all. The worker would empty the furniture in the yard of a house in front of his parking place and return again to take another item with him. When he was turning to go to the truck, I was passing by him. It was obvious that he was very tired and he was not wearing proper clothes.
