Epic love stories and relationships as depicted in pop culture, though it rarely turns out like that in real life.
Underrated Movies that show Mental Health Awareness
Mental health has no longer been pushed away as a conversation to be dismissed. I've talked about mental health (as well as these movies) The Screen Queen with the discussions of how PTSD is shown in certain scenes as examples to make an awareness of mental health struggles. Nowadays we have movies that know how to correctly address mental health issues, but it's the movies in the 80s and 90s that put their twist on it that don't get enough credit.

A Little Vocal Reciprocal Challenge
Introduction This is just an idea I had for maybe bringing Vocal Creators closer together. I did produce this piece to add favourite creators to your profile a while back and while it got good feedback I've only seen a handful of people implement it, though I personally found it good for discovering new creators. If my friends like a creator, then the chances are I will also like their work.

Dedication to a Friend(s).
A certain version of this article has been sitting in my drafts for some time now. There were all these excuses; I couldnât find the time to finish it, the inspiration would fluctuate, I couldnât make up my mind on the title, jumping between âAn ode to Friendsâ or âDedication to Friendsâ; a trivial detail really. The only thing I was fully decided on, was a subtitle. âIâll be there for youâ; an echo of the song during the opening titles of the series , that made its way into the hearts of millions in the 90âs, 00âs and beyond. In the retrospect, it is very likely I was simply worried that I wonât be able to describe the full pallet when it comes to how I felt about this iconic show, as well as what it meant to a whole generation. The task felt like very large shoes to fill.

Exploring the Top Travel Destinations for 2023 đïž
2023 is shaping up to be an incredible year for travel as countries around the world have finally reopened their borders after several years of pandemic restrictions. With much of the world now accessible once more, travelers are eager to venture to new and exciting destinations. In this article, I will highlight 10 of the top places you should consider adding to your travel wishlist for 2023. From continental Europe to the islands of the South Pacific, these locations offer stunning natural beauty, rich culture, and plenty of adventure. Weâll start in the gorgeous Atlantic archipelago of Madeira, located off the coast of Africa. Often deemed the âHawaii of Europe,â Madeira boasts breathtaking volcanic scenery perfect for hiking trails along the coast and through dramatic mountains. One of my favorite spots was Punta du Sol beach, where smooth boulders meet the azure water â a stunning place for swimming. But for unmatched panoramic views, one must make the trek to Pico do Arieiro, Madeiraâs highest point, where you may even find yourself wandering above the clouds. The hiking trails here are superbly maintained, and rewards you with phenomenal vistas of the islandâs colorful rock formations. With amazing beaches and dramatic peaks, Madeira is an ideal starting spot to kick off your travels in 2023. From there, weâll head north to Western Norway, home to the countryâs most magnificent fjords. One of Norwayâs most iconic is Geirangerfjord, where cascading waterfalls like the Seven Sisters plunge 410 meters into the deep water below. Another highlight is the historic SkageflĂ„ farm situated high on the cliffs â to reach it requires a picturesque ferry and uphill hike, but the fairy tale-like setting and views of the fjord below make it well worth the effort. Just a few hours west is Lake Lovatnet, renowned for its vivid turquoise waters surrounded by dramatic peaks â the entire landscape feels straight out of a postcard. With stunning natural beauty around every turn, Western Norway should be high on your 2023 travel list. Shifting gears, I recommend exploring the diversity of Namibia next. In the massive orange sand dunes of the Namib Desert, youâll find haunting natural scenes like at Desdvlei Claypan, where centuries-old tree skeletons stand frozen in time. But Namibia has much more to offer - the granite spires of Spitzkoppe rise dramatically from the plains, and Etosha National Park provides opportunities to spot iconic African wildlife like black rhinos. Namibia continues to astonish with its variety of awe-inspiring landscapes. The pristine islands of the Seychelles are the perfect tropical destination. Base yourself on the largest island, MahĂ©, with its cultural capital of Victoria before venturing by ferry to beach heaven spots. A top highlight is Anse Source dâArgent on La Digue island, consistently ranked amongst the most beautiful beaches in the world. Towering granite boulders sculpt the coastline into an otherworldly paradise worthy of any travel bucket list. Next up is South Americaâs magnificent Patagonia, spanning Chile and Argentina with dramatic topographies to rival any destination. Torres del Paine National Park in Chile is home to iconic granite towers and abundant wildlife like guanacos and pumas. Over the border in Argentina, Los Glaciares National Park is home to stunning mountain profiles like Fitz Roy massif â the undulating mass of granite spires and glacial lakes creates an utterly picturesque Andean backdrop. With fjords, mountains, and vast wilderness, Patagonia captivates all types of travelers. No trip is complete without a visit to the Emerald Isle itself, Ireland. This magical island nation filled me with wonder on my first trip this past summer. One unforgettable highlight was hiking the 618 steps up to the awe-inspiring Skellig Islands monasteries, which served as Luke Skywalkerâs secret hideout in Star Wars. Along the countryâs wild western coast, the Cliffs of Moher tower 214 meters above the crashing waves below â a truly iconic spot. With its fairytale landscapes and rich culture, Ireland will steal your heart. The glamour and charm of the French Riviera beckons next. Medieval hilltop villages like Ăze transport you back in time along their cobblestone alleys, while Saint-Tropez offers idyllic beaches and a chic atmosphere. But for unparalleled coastal scenery, kayaking into the azure secluded coves near Marseille surrounded by dramatic white cliffs is a standout experience. France continues to dazzle with its perfect blend of culture, cuisine, romance, and natural beauty. Tuscany should be high on every culture-seekerâs travel list, known the world over for its Renaissance hill towns, vineyards, and iconic Renaissance landmarks in Florence. I recommend exploring the picturesque medieval villages like San Gimignano with their impeccably preserved architecture and panoramic vistas. Rolling cypress-lined landscapes in Val dâOrcia provide the quintessential postcard scenes of the Italian countryside. Architectural and artistic wonders await around every corner in Tuscany. New Zealand captures travelersâ imaginations like no other, as evidenced by the global obsession with The Lord of the Rings movies. For adventure and truly dramatic scenery, South Island is the top destination with the mammoth peaks of Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. Milford Sound on the west coast has been hailed one of the top natural wonders of the world â its steep fjord walls and ever-present waterfalls create a vision straight out of fairytales. New Zealandâs great diversity of natural attractions await exploration in 2023. Our tour concludes in Japan, known as The Land of the Rising Sun. This intriguing island nation has so much to offer from snowy Sapporo to vibrant Tokyo and everything in between. Mount Fujiâs perfectly symmetrical cone near Lake Kawaguchi creates one of Japanâs most iconic images. Ancient shrines, futuristic cities, culinary wonders - itâs no surprise Japan continues to enchant all who visit. As one of the last countries to reopen to tourism, 2023 will be the perfect year to experience Japanâs unique cultural tapestry and natural beauty. In summary, 2023 promises access to some of earthâs most compelling destinations once more after several restricted years. From Portugalâs fairytale islands to New Zealandâs Lord of the Rings landscapes, this lineup of top 10 global destinations features something for every type of traveler â nature lovers, culture seekers, beach bums, or adventure junkies. With countries now open to welcome international travelers again, I highly recommend adding at least one of these stunning locales to your travel wish list next year. Wherever your wanderlust may lead, 2023 is shaping up to be a banner year to start checking destinations off your bucket list once again. Bon voyage!

Here's to Girlhood
The internet moves fast. By the time I think of something I want to write or get around to some silly little TikTok trend I want to jump on, itâs over. Weâve moved on. Our collective energy is focused on something else. You donât have to look far to see this. There is still a war raging in Ukraine and the blue and yellow flags that flew with such fervor stateside have faded, tattered, or been torn down. There is a new war to focus on. People know theyâve cancelled some celebrity or company but canât remember what for anymore. Women were walking around saying, âHi, Barbie,â to other Barbies that crossed their paths, and before my personalized HI BARBI license plate could even arrive, the hope of Barbieland becoming real seems to have disappeared, giving way to the Kens, once again.
