marriage
Marriage is not so much a word as it is a sentence–a life sentence.

Excitedly and without hesitation he approached. Guided by an overpowering impulse he had said 'hello' before he knew what he was doing. If he had thought about it he probably would have fearfully admonished himself for being so eager, but there was no time for that and to his surprise he was handling the situation incredibly well, comfortably engaged and in control, simultaneously feeling more like himself than he had ever known and like someone else completely.

The Heart, The Man, The Clot
*The heart is a tricky thing. In one definition it is a vital organ to life. In another it is a “feeling” we are told to follow. We talk about hearts and how we know things by it, or how they can be broken though not literally, and how they can be full of an emotion that isn’t physical in the slightest but yet you feel. The heart in both definition, feeling and even in word can have so many meanings. But truthfully they are all connected.*
