Only in this show, the ghosts haunted beautiful people, actors who made being haunted look easy, or at least more manageable. In every scene, a grim face lurked behind the actors with their symmetrical faces, usually while they searched for pickle jars in the pantry, investigated sounds in the basement, heard a chiming in the playroom only to find a long-broken music box singing a tune.

Nest Building
After spending almost two hours on this, I was beginning to understand why people referred to is as “grinding.” It described it perfectly in every way, the noise, the effort, the repetition, the thought of not being done yet. Definitely grinding, as I slid the sharpening stone down the length of the axe head for another pass. The scraping of stone on metal reverberated about the barn again, much louder than I would have liked.

Day 1286
Solitude, in and of itself is a welcome circumstance if the soul chooses but, what of the soul that feels that loneliness is the only assurance to an enduring life? I guess people would live just as I had for the past three and half years, survival, the singular most important thought on my mind. I had remained painfully aware of the passing of each day and while I would not have called myself hopeless, I did feel true helplessness. Helpless to save myself from the constant torment of memories as strong as day they were born.

"Oleg, table nine left, no pay!"- I hear my manager's mom saying with a Vietnamese accent. "Okay, and what type of rice do you want with that? Steamed? Ok. Sriracha? Sure. Twelve packets of it? Sure(I had to squeeze that one out of me). How long will it take? Ten-twelve minutes. See you then, bye." And they say that there is no service in taking out.
