The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
Taegong: Boy’s Love
Taeyang and Gong-gi were escorted into a black double-decker bus. On the outside, it looked like an ordinary tour bus, but inside it was massive. It had been furnished with a homely touch complete with a kitchen, mini bar, and a lounge. Upstairs there was a bedroom with a kingsize bed. It was a five-star hotel room jammed inside a bus. Their manager Flo had her own compartment with the driver.

Taegong: Who’s On Top
Immigration was smoother than Gong-gi had anticipated. The first question they asked the men as they got out of the plan was what made Taegong unique. He had a deja vu moment. People used to ask him what make VALENTINE COOKIE stand out from their rival groups as well. He was cascaded in linear thoughts. He had an articulate response in his head, and then Flo took the words out of his mouth whilst adding her own lies to the mix.

Taegong: First Kiss
It was the first time Taeyang had ever stepped foot out of South Korea. His body slouched against his seat as he stretched. Peering out of the plane windows, he could tell he was in a different country. Taeyang suppressed his panting and urge to scream. He was technically the luckiest guy in the world, but it hadn't sunk in. The plan was surrounded by people, he could hear them banging on the plane doors. They had microphones, a dozen types of cameras and notebooks tucked into their hands. "Are they all for us?" Taeyang asked Gong-gi.

The Moleskine Notebook
The alarm sounds on Robert’s phone. 1:30 p.m. His eyes struggling to open. He rolls over and grabs the phone and squeezes the side buttons in order to silence it. I can do a lot with 9 minutes, he thought. Almost immediately another thought entered his head. It’s the first of the month. Rent day. He knew what little time he had to get everything done before he had to leave for work. His roommate Damon would come home with his half of the rent expecting Robert’s so that they could pay it on time, every time.

Serendipity
Jermaine is a fixture at the Old Hilltop. He isn’t anyone’s employee, but all the trainers respect his presence; it’s a rare morning when he isn’t at the clubhouse turn of the track at the crack of dawn, watching the early workouts with a stopwatch in hand. He jots down the racers’ times in a little black notebook, which he keeps in the inside pocket of his tattered overcoat. When he goes to make his bets, the bookies greet him by name. He keeps all conversations short and to the point. The employees at Pimlico Racecourse know better than to try and chat with Jermaine Montgomery, the bitter old man who only talks to the horses.

With Love Always
Alyssa, When we first met, I didn’t realize you would become my best friend and confidante. You were standing there outside the dorms, handing out flyers for Lucy Gray’s candle light vigil, and the way you talked to each and every person made me think, “Wow, I wish I were that friendly.” At first it was a passing thought, some stray thought that I didn’t think would come back to be relevant to me later. When you got to me, I just grabbed hold of one of the yellow papers, expecting to crumple it and throw it away when I got up to my room. But something in your eyes made me pause. Your dark eyes accused me, as if you could unravel every single thought I was thinking.

Transgender Biology
Debates continue to rage within and without the LGBTQ community whether the concept of gender identity even exists as something separate from our biological sex. If it does, then transgender and nonbinary people are valid and not merely mentally ill. Yet, any scientific studies into whether there is a biological component behind being born transgender worries many people within the transgender community.

Taegong: Demo
Taeyang slept like a log. Gong-gi knew that once he got used to the lifestyle of a K-pop idol, the pleasant sleeping would not last for long. His head pressed on Gong-gi's shoulder. Flo Glitz had her own compartment of course and left the two of them alone in the two seats to 'get to know each other'. Had Gong-gi had been ten or fifteen years younger, he would have played the act willingly. Everybody made mistakes, but as the plane flew over China, he couldn't` help but feel he was making the biggest mistake of his life.

Dear boyfriend, I’m leaving…
Hey, I was there this morning when you left for work. It so happens that, if you are reading this, it means that I’m not there anymore. By now, I’ll be taking a cappuccino at Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, waiting for the flight that’ll take me back to Brazil. The following pages were taken from my personal journal. That little black book that I bought so I could write more. That one I told you’d become my first book, remember? I guess you don’t. While I was paying for it, I’ve heard over my shoulder your voice asking: “Are you finally writing it or is it just another silly idea that you will let unfinished inside a drawer?”

Accessories Included
He didn’t think it was worth that much. Forty-year-old Sherm Schlossberg leaned back in his desk chair and gave another incredulous sigh. He’d finally put the bane of his collection up for auction: a Jeffrey Dahmer action figure, brand-new in its box (if a little dusty). It even came with accessories—a blue barrel, a bottle of liquor, and a tiny freezer full of plastic guts.

A little black book speaks volumes
KJ thumbed through the little, black book on the desk in the opulent room. The view from the 15th floor of the 4-star hotel on the Magnificent Mile was fantastic. Between views of the Chicago River, bridges and the downtown hustle and bustle, it was a breath-taking sight. The room was as neat as when KJ checked in. Bed meticulously made, towels folded neatly, not a thing out of place save for the empty wrapper from the coffee cup and hazelnut-flavored, Keurig pod.
