The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
Plummeting into Carnations
We’re not obsessed with flying. We’re obsessed with falling. Flying tells you that you’re safe. Falling tells you that you should value your life more. Flying shows you the light of sky and life, or look down and see the lights of towns with one traffic light, or cities with 10 skyscrapers. Falling plummets you to see how much cities actually scrape the sky, and you find out that it’s not actually that much.

A Healthy Life. Top Story - January 2021.
There once was a girl who was sad and blue. For her body was all wrong it’s true. Since she was a he, in the body of a she. For years, the she who was actually a he, battled the pain within. She tried to hide him. She tried to ignore him. Then one day, as she was talking with her parents, he exploded. He was done hiding, and he was done being ignored. He was ready to show the world what he stood for.

Coming Out: 4 Things to Help You on Your Journey
Although liberating, coming out can be also traumatic. Hugely so. You know it's the right thing to do, but still your mind is wracked with doubt. Am I going to be accepted? Am I suddenly going to find out that someone close to me is homophobic, and have that relationship fracture? Even worse, do I run the risk of alienation or perhaps vitriol?

Why don't you talk about this 21st century LGBT teen?
The roughest phase for me in the twenty-year life that I have lived came as a realization at the age of fourteen, while I was watching Hollow Man in the then-new computer that my father had brought for me and my two sisters from my mother’s four-month teaching salary.

Pronouns 101
Good evening, friends! If you clicked an article titled "Pronouns 101" then one of two things is true. Either you're here to rage-read this and then tweet some choice words our way, or you recently were talking to someone, and they interrupted you to correct a pronoun you used. You felt a little judged, and a teensy bit defensive. It happens to all of us, but why? What are pronouns? Pro. Noun. Surely from the prefix and stem, we can surmise that pronouns are simply nouns that have surpassed amateur status for a steady paycheck right? Surprisingly, this is not the case and can land you in hot water with the wrong person.

Right In front of you is love
Happy to just enjoy my vacation it was all coming to an end so quickly. We all did our shopping and now were walking down the grand marble stairs laced with brass that I could swear was gold. Wow, I had to pause for a moment and let it all sink in. This was the happiest I've been in a while. Just me hanging out with my two best friends Desmond and Travik watching them fight over this guy. Well, I wouldn't call it fighting. Me and Zalika watched as they both played cat and mouse with her new friend, Vat. His dark creamy skin and green passionate oval eyes and strong bone structure just put Desmond in a fit. He spent half his day just abrasively hitting on poor Vat who politely would disregard his advances. Honestly I think Vat seemed more interested in Travik than anything. I watched as he would occasionally glance over to Travik trying to engage him in conversation between the swats of attention grabbing from Desmond, but that's how it was with Travik and Desmond.

Discovering the Rainbow Within
For years, fourteen to be exact, I was the “perfect” little girl. I kept my head down, grades up, and legs closed. I stayed in this small room that had been chosen and designed for me by everyone else, without any regard to me or my heart's desire. The room was quaint and cozy, so I just closed my eyes and covered my ears, that way I could not hear the screams of the girl within me that wanted to be set free. You see...she was the me that I was not ready to be, because I thought I had to be someone else to please everyone else. Little did I know...little did I know.

What Having A Trans Best Friend Taught Me About Life
I have Trans best friends. This carries weight, speculation, and misinterpretations. That’s okay. I’ve always gravitated towards the different, the uncommon, and the unconventional. After surviving extreme torment from bullies growing up (I grew up with severe food allergies, went into anaphylaxis 3 times, and covered with disfiguring eczema/psoriasis), I knew what it meant to be “othered” on many levels.
