"Humor is what binds humans together and makes difficult times just a little less painful; Sometimes you can't help but laugh. "
Green Glasses
If you close your eyes, you can remember the smell, the feel and the sound it made. That black journal that you spilled your inner thoughts into. You can’t really describe the smell of the paper; the crisp yet smoky odour that is left on the tips of your fingers when you’re done. Whether you finish covered in tears or show a subtle smile with that indented dimple. This is what your mother wanted when she said,”This is yours and only yours. A place for you to hide or flourish with dreams and goals.” No pressure for a ten year old. I could barely finish Black Beauty but here I will enter my every thought and feeling. Doubts? Maybe. Willing? Definitely.

Litter
The receipt I dropped last night, perhaps I pretend I did not see it fly away in the breeze as I took my keys from my back pocket, perhaps I pretend I do not hear the rustling noise it makes as it travels across the parking lot taunting me as a I walk to my car, “litterer, litterer.” Perhaps I am afraid that someone has seen me drop this receipt and will report me to the authorities after which I will receive a letter in the mail informing me of a fine for littering, and so I pick it up. Or perhaps I think, I’ve done enough for this world, it can take one indisposed receipt. Or maybe I don’t pick it up and maybe the fear of getting a fine for civil disservice haunts me and my dreams that night. Or maybe I sleep peacefully and dream of pastel rollerblades.

My Day of Fortune
My Day of Fortune Let me tell you the story how I became 20,000 dollars richer. Now, let me warn you, this is not one of those stories when someone calls my phone threatening me, I’m running for my life, and my family is up for ransom. No, it’s not one of those, sorry to disappoint, and if you are disappointed this probably isn’t the story for you. But let me tell the story before the rest of you leave.

The Plan
Darryl Dickson was dying. Not the usual, unspoken, average, run of the mill, dying. You know the popularised type of everyday dying (everyone's doing it!). For most, it is a painful thought, pushed aside, buried until you cannot repress it any longer. It’s arrival uncontrolled and vicious, as unsolicited tears appear, eventually pooling at your chin. You try to distance yourself...I’m just going to ignore the coffin. It’s just a box, and what’s that on the ceiling? I wonder how they got up there to paint that.....

Sharks Bite
It felt fine at first. Without the Keep It Together spray, the Shark Spray Adhesive seemed like a viable alternative. Without the Keep it Together hair spray, then it felt like bites into Janelle Cambria’s scalp. Her temperature was rising. She hyperventilated.

Can someone teach me how to use Vocal?
Well hello there. If you've stumbled onto this article, I'm guessing it's either from the bottomless vocal reading rabbit hole you’ve fallen into for the last two hours or you found this completely accidentally and you're just about to click out of this page.

Teaching Methods and Strategies
Trevor was a likeable enough fellow. He was of good farm-boy stock and he had average intelligence I suppose. However, he also had several character flaws, one of which was his unrealistically high opinion of the male gender as opposed to the fairer, but not weaker sex. Trevor was enrolled in one of my Grade 10 Science courses way back in one of the early years that I taught High School in a small prairie town.

Who Gives Two Farts?
(It’s the night of Thanksgiving, right after a huge Thanksgiving dinner. The camera pans through a modest, dimly lit house. First, panning through the kitchen of the home, we find dirty dishes laying everywhere......on the counter...in the sink...etc. As the camera passes through the disarray of the kitchen, the camera passing right by an old man napping in the recliner, with the television on ‘static snow’. Then, we find the camera wondering upstairs, passing the kids toys, the camera continues to roam, finally arriving in the bedroom of married couple, Tim and Rita Manford. Both are in the bed. Rita’s sound asleep, as Tim looks somewhat puzzled, he is deep in thought. Then, Tim turns on his side, looks into the camera and that’s when it happens......the ‘wettest, longest and loudest’ sounding fart ever known to man. Rita wakes up out of her peaceful sleep......and looks none too happy at Tim.)
