How Heartbreak Redrew My Entire Life Map
I didn’t know I was mapping myself until one day I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize the woman staring back. Her eyes looked tired in a way sleep couldn’t fix. Her shoulders slumped under a weight I couldn’t see but could feel. When I touched the glass, she seemed like a stranger.

How Law and Policy Shape the Communities We Raise Our Children In
The way that laws are enforced and presented to communities has a strong influence on how everyone lives. Not only does it shape behavior directly by indicating what is and is not okay, but it also informs the way children experience the environments they live in. How safe do they feel? What boundaries do they live within?

The map I never meant to draw
THE MAP I NEVER MEANT TO DRAW by Keith Neumann Letting go of the past — it’s harsh. People say it like it’s a single action, a clean break, a moment where the heart suddenly grows tired of carrying the weight. It’s a spiritual, psychological, and even neurological reality.

Return to Self
Do you know who you are? I think I am finally figuring out who I am again. Under the layers of ego and logic that I project to the world, the real core id entity that is me. Don't get me wrong, I don't intend to become driven by my id. But everyone should be able to find theirs in the sea of somethings that is the self, and I lost track of mine for a while. It's one thing to not know what you want; it's quite another to not know if you can want anything anymore. One of those things is definitely scary, but the other is existentially terrifying.
