humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
What About the Truth?
The lies people tell are fascinating. From the smallest thing to the biggest. One day, you lie so much it turns into truth. I’m not sure what’s a lie and what’s true anymore. People lie daily, but sometimes I want to hear the lies because I can’t take the truth. I lie to myself constantly because I am afraid. I am afraid that if the truth comes out, I will crumble like a cookie. The truth can be terrifying to the point that it breaks people down from everything that they are built on. Lies can help sometimes. But other times they only hurt. I never know how to trust somebody fully or how to be truthful because I fear how they’ll react. Trust is a sacred thing. It takes time to gain, but can be lost quickly. I write, not to tell a story, but to express how I feel. It's rather comforting. But I am so scared of the truth that I can’t face facts about how fake I am. How I act before others isn’t who I am. I act like this girl who is proper, funny, silly, serious, and happy. But, conclusively, I am a lost, scared girl who isn’t happy, who wants to feel and be loved, who wants to fit in and not be this fake person, who wants to be happy and feel wonderful, and who wants this non-perfect guy, but that is perfect in my world: To be who I want to be and not who others want me to be. And someday I will get there, but right now I am here. So, I'm affirmative I have dreams that I will accomplish. This day, and I don't try, I do. I do my best to get where I need to be.

Sticks and Stones
Everyone has been bullied sometime in their lives. It could be physical, verbal, or cyberbullying. In order for us to evolve as a species and find peace within ourselves and the world, we must find what creates the need to bully in the first place. So many factors go into the harassment and antagonistic behaviors that potentially can take place between two human beings. Whether your home life is rocky, your self-confidence is low, your self-esteem is non-existent, or whatever may plague one's mind. Sadly, we haven't done anything about this issue and we've turned our heads from the problems that corrode us. We have created a society of bystanders, and we must take a stand against bullying. This film is that stand.

Introduction
Since these are called stories ... I think I will tell you one about how I got here, and why I am staying for a while. My name is Peyton Dracco, at least that’s how most of my associates know me. It’s worth noting that I have been known by many names before. However, that is a story for another time.

Stand up and Let Your Voice Be Heard
I'm a Vietnamese college student (now), who experienced bullying. It began in freshman year of middle school. There was a group of boys and girls who happened to be in three of my classes. First, the bullying started with a girl. She'd made fun of my outfits, looks, color, and race. At first I didn't know how to handle this situation because I thought to myself "Why would anyone treat another like this?" I didn't know how to approach her in a way that wouldn't cause any more trouble, so I kept pretending nothing happened. A few weeks went along, I noticed that other students who were friends with her started teasing me. No they didn't harm be physically, but they hurt me mentally. I had my feelings destroyed. I didn't know what to do at the point because the situation gotten worse. I was too afraid to tell my parents or the counselor. So all I did was ignoring the fact these bullies where destroying me and making my opportunity to graduate middle school. During the same year, there was another group full of girls. Yes, they teased me. One day I was on Facebook, and I commented on a girl's photo because they weren't being polite. Soon after, I was cyberbullied by her because I was saying it wasn't okay to be disrespectful and that she should be grateful for what she has in life. Little did I know, she attended my middle school and became friends with the bully from sixth grade. This continued into seventh grade.

Feeding the Homeless 1/25/2019
Yesterday was an awesome day because we made up bag lunches and hygiene kits to hand out to the homeless. We were going to hand them out locally but could not find but two individuals and I know that Dalton has lots of homeless people we just couldn't find them and we drove around checking all the spots for about an hour.

What Would This World Be like If Farting Was Acceptable?
What an odd subject to talk about. Farting is and has been deemed unacceptable for pretty much ever. It's such a simple thing and everyone in this world does it. Yet, we never really notice people openly fart much in society. This notion is so absurd that it's deemed comedy when it happens. People will go ballistic when someone actually performs the act in front of them. Of course, close family and friends are usually the only exceptions to this, but even they'll have a good chuckle when it happens and no one likes to be made fun of.

Practicality Is Ruining Society
Our world is becoming more efficient everyday. For the most part, this is actually a great thing. We all enjoy way more free time than previous generations. Society today has a fixation on practicality and loses sight of what we lose due to efficiencies. I'm not going to talk about the job losses or robots taking over. What I will talk about is how we treat each other as a result of our obsession with practicality.
