humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Brewing spins on old recipes & Drawing for my friends and family
I am not a very talented artist when it comes to drawing and painting, I only draw what I know and what I love. My main form of therapy as an emotional sieve and as an release is writing poetry and writing short stories. Romance is my absolute favorite thing to write about, if you haven't noticed from my stories on here!!

It's How I Grew Up.
The way of the world has gotten controversial and confusing, with too many trigger words and too much bias. I know in my mind and in my heart that it’s a way of turning the world towards a much better light, having many truths of many different peoples winding their ways to the forefronts, causing some to open their mind to other truths as the old norms slowly fade.

1 Year Anniversary
March 18, 2020 I have been yearning for some quiet time; time to be able to rummage through my thoughts and find some that make sense. There is too much noise around me, too many demands, too much of the same as always. Nothing else has stopped and nothing else has changed, except me. The physical is obvious and the mental/emotional is attempting to stay hidden so I am perceived as strong. Perception is everything. Strangely and unexpectedly, I feel stronger. I feel more powerful. My energy is surging, providing me a type of drive that I've never felt before while erratically fueling my mind. Very difficult to manage a single thought, even more to elaborate on it without distraction. Focus is hard. I thought I wasn't angry, but there are times when I lash out angrily and feel guilt immediately after. I do not want my children to suffer...

Dreams of Being the Joker
Dreams of being the Joker. It was in a grand hotel, ocher street lights lead to the front door. The lamps of each floor are off and the windows blocked, the interior is setup for Halloween. The top seven floors of the building are all linked for the party, each floor its own unique design. I was heading to my room, seeing so many people along the way and enjoying their reactions to me and my costume.

My Colors
Red is for the blood that every man bleeds. There is no black, brown or white blood, just red. It means we all bleed the same. Red means life. Red is also my favorite color. The red in the the American flag stands for the blood shed for freedom, maybe the red in the LGBTQ flag stands for the same. I am unique because of this color. All of the colors of the flag mean something. But red stands out.

Healing Cycle
This is a short story I originally wrote in Wattpad for their fundraising partnership my Maybelline for mental health awareness month. The requirements on Wattpad are for it to be under 500 words. Vocal’s requirements are to be over 600 words. So there’s a few changes. You can find the original version on Wattpad. My username there is Chloboshoka.
