humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Jet Skis of Death
The Sea Doo we are riding is considered relatively slow in jet ski circles. It was designed to hold three people and tops out at around 45 mph. Even still, when we hit the four foot wake of the big cruiser plowing its way down Indian Slough we still soar five feet in the air. The much faster and lighter Yamaha X520 traveling behind us at about 20 mph faster skies triples the height we do. The rider noses it down into a graceful fifteen foot decent and tunnels underwater after landing. Me and my girlfriend are laughing and having a fantastic time.

Are you there? Let's have a relationship!
Hello, stranger. Autumn comes silently, an autumn rain is cool. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and the sun is shining outside my window, and then it's cloudy. Sometimes it's gray and rainy, but then the sun comes out, and the sky is clear, and the blue sky and white clouds are beautiful.

Looking at the Moon in the Clouds
It was quiet, surprisingly quiet. The moonlight of midnight has gathered all the noise of the day, gazing at everything on the ground with affection. The moon is surrounded by a few faint clouds, making the deep and distant night sky seem even more vast and indistinct.

Banana Tree
I can't remember when a row of banana trees was planted along the fence of the office building in the south of the company. When I started to pay attention to them, four or five of the seven or eight banana trees already had fruits. On the fruit-bearing trees, hundreds of twin banana brothers and sisters were divided into several rows around a main stem, and each row was clustered into a circular arc like a rehearsal. Each of these little people is wrapped in a long green shirt, like a curved crescent moon, and like a boat carrying a heart.

Sun Moon Truth
Roshi Kobayashi had just finished the Aragyo. ✦ For 100 days, from November to February, in a temple at the summit of Mt. Hiei, Buddhist monks undergo austere ascetic instruction. For the duration of their training the monks remain dressed in white.

Dear Young adults, please give older folk a break
I will be 63 on my next birthday and unfortunately am turning into my grandmother. She would be attempting to say one thing and something absolutely different would come out of her mouth. She would call my brothers and me by the names of our cousins and become so frustrated she would smack her hand against her leg and say "Oh sh*t. I am now dealing with the same. I was at Burger King this morning and my grandsons asked for Hash browns. My granddaughter told me she wanted French toast sticks but when I was placing the order I said "A five piece" and French toast sticks would not come to mind. Thankfully the person taking my order knew what I wanted and finished my sentence for me.

The Israelis who love to "let go"
Having lived and worked in Israel for some time, what impresses me most is the "empty" spirit of Israelis. Whether on the street, in cafes, or in post offices, banks and other workplaces, you can find them in a state of "relaxation" or "semi-empty" everywhere. When they are idle, their faces are a relaxed and happy look; when they are working, they are slow and leisurely, patient and calm.
