humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
Living the dream on Planet Problem
Problems come with the territory of being alive and as we all know they occur in a multitude of forms, shapes, and sizes and are as much part of your life as is breathing. My thought has always been that everybody on the planet has problems, some of them some of the time, more of them a lot of the time, and many of them most of the time.

9 Asian Female Stereotypes That Need To Die
Why not both? I wish this meant having both soft and hard tacos but instead it's experiencing both sexism and racism as an Asian woman. It's like if I'm not being discriminated against for being a woman, then I'm being discriminated against for being an Asian.

So, where do we go from here?
I lived and worked in the city of Toronto for over twenty years. The city was never kind to me in the sense that it was easy to live there. I struggled like half the population struggles with earning enough money to stay afloat. Getting ahead required a level of insanity that often included taking more than one job. This isn't a new thing but it is something that has been met with increasing difficulty for several years, escalating even more during this Pandemic. Simply put, people can't afford to live there anymore. So what do you do? I'm not a quitter but the world is changing on a level that is difficult to measure. I don't mean in a simple way, where the times are "a-changing", and you either choose to change or you choose to remain, left to stew in your own stagnant life juices. There is no choice here. This isn't just about surviving until you figure something better out. We can't just sit and wait for things to get back to normal. I'm not sure that is even going to be painted with a brush that we even fully grasp at this point. What we need to do is find a way to Sur-thrive.

Were the predictions for 2021 right?
I want to keep up with this one this year and get this done sooner. So, let's get started. Judy Heavenly said that Joe Biden will have a health problem in the beginning of the year and spring or summer. I could not find any news articles supporting that. Judy also says that this won't be Joe's only term, that he would use this term to decide if he would run again. Well, I found articles saying that Joe wants to run for another term. We will not know how that turns out until the next election. She also says that Joe will find common ground with Republicans when it comes to the Covid-19 and right now the main politician talking about Covid is Joe. There have been some disagreements about masks and mandates lately.

The Awakening
I opened my eyes to peace, stillness and a deafning quiet. Waking up to silence was usual since I was born without the gift of sound. I saw the brilliance of a billion stars. Light was all around me, it was as though it was alive, a burning fire to show me the way. However, I somehow sensed that something was not quite right, I was looking through a moving glass, clear and serene. It wasn't until I moved my arms and felt a coolness hugging my skin that I realized I was under water.

Codependency & Anxiety
Codependency and Anxiety The word codependency often gets tossed around in conversation when people are discussing relationships. In my opinion this topic lacks awareness. People who toss that term around probably are not aware that they themselves maybe a codependent. They may not be aware that codependency and anxiety are linked. Codependency has many characteristics and it is complex. It can affect the mental wellness of those who are codependent and cause anxiety.

The Biggest Lie I Once Believed Was True.
One of the things that I'm sure you never knew about me, was that I used to believe in some pretty weird ideas. Looking back, it kind of shocks me that I maybe wasn't intelligent enough to see that these ideas didn't have my best interest.
