Renaissance Festival War Stories: September 10/11, 2022
...Previously during weekend 3 September 10/11, 2022 This weekend featured the return of Jacqueline and Bertram. They had fallen ill the last two weeks and we were glad to have them back. There is a love, joy, and passion I have for this show for doing it going on three years; these two have done it for twenty years. I consciously made an effort to take the back seat to them. After missing two weekends, I wanted to watch them shine as much as the audience wanted to see them. I have learned much from these two.

7Years of Wisdom
Life… It is an odd experience. And as each individual stumbles their way down their own path, our journeys shape who we are and how we view the world around us. More often than not, we stumble or lose ourselves in the storms that attempt to overwhelm us, and in these moments, we tend to focus more on who is kicking us when we are down than who is by your side with a hand out, ready to chase off the clouds. These last few weeks have been a storm for me, and while I have been hiding it well, I had forgotten how to breathe. Today, a little girl in a Taco Bell booth reminded me how to smile; she chased away my clouds.

No one is doing any harm to you. If they do any harm to you, it is through your cooperation.
No one is doing any harm to you, if they do any harm to you, it is through your cooperation, so in the end you must be responsible, you chose it. You said, "my husband is hurting me. "but this gentleman is your choice, and in fact, only in this way can he hurt you. You want to get hurt, that's why you chose this gentleman or this wife.

The Real Dracula – A Saint in His Homeland
Photo by David Stanley If you ever happen to go to the resting place of Vlad III in Snagov, Romania, one must tread lightly. You definitely do not want to offend the saintly deference the sight and its occupant are given. Statues of this iconic medieval prince are in no short supply either. Almost 600 years later, and to the world over, old Vlad goes by another name that puts him in an entirely different light—Dracula.
