humanity
For better or for worse, relationships reveal the core of the human condition.
A Baby Cries
A baby is crying, but not one person can hear the cries. There is one who hears the sound and at first becomes curious, then terrified, then angry as hell. Fire shoots and pours out of his mouth like lava erupting from a volcano. This is not a metaphor, literal fire bursts and liquid magma blazes from his mouth as his eyes turn red with rage built up for an eternity of suppressed anger. You might find this hard to believe until you understand this one is a mighty dragon of old. He is the last of his kind. He is the last of all kinds. He has been on this planet, alone, for what can only be described as an eternity. He’s been here so long, lost in meditation since his last meal, that was eons ago. And it was a great feast of many.

I FEEL LIKE FLORIDA.
I’m sure that’s a level of insensitive many won’t appreciate, but I think I can confidently say I’d prefer watching my house demolished to it’s foundation and float away opposed to the last 2 months. Whatever the highest category of hurricane exists blew in, sweeping away and devastating something irreplaceable - uprooting the foundation on which I’ve stood for 20 years.

How to Survive When Society Collapses
Everyone fears a catastrophic event that will lead to the end of society. These events are popular in films and literature, but also have real-world examples. Hurricanes, earthquakes, pandemics, and wars have all led to a fractured populace. One of the most common fears is an apocalypse brought on by manmade or natural disasters. Society’s structure has weakened because of political divisiveness, social media echo chambers, and the continued failure to find solutions for global problems like climate change and wealth inequality . A perfect storm of events might be enough to cause complete collapse. If you’re reading this, it’s probably because you know something isn’t right with society. Take action now before it’s too late so you can survive when society collapses.

What Fantasy Race Arguments Really Say About Us
It has been weeks, and still the backlash rages on. You can turn to any corner of the internet and find it, raging internet trolls whose lives have been “destroyed”. Not by war or any government mandates. No. By the choice of Disney+ to release a straight-to-television version of The Little Mermaid in which the lead role (Ariel) is played by a Black woman.

Girls Without Fear
On the outskirts of Bogota, Colombia lies a small town known as Soacha. The population is around 82,000, nearly 50 percent of which are displaced persons. The displaced persons come from all over Colombia. They are often escaping areas controlled by the rebel groups, FARC and ELN. These groups send their guerillas to collect what Colombians call vacunas (vaccines), these are fees they pay for “protection” and showing support for the groups. The support is involuntary if you’re poor and can only afford to live in a certain area. Mostly it is full of hardworking individuals and families who are doing their best, but it is still riddled with problems we often associate with poverty.

Colorism In Ethiopia Is A Huge Problem
Colorism and colorists have a stronghold in Ethiopia (allegedly) supported by the Prime Minister. Lighter skinned Ethiopians are all you can find on Google as well. They're what is used to promote tourism and international travel to the country, they are the face of Ethiopia. The country which claims to have never been colonized even though it was re-named and occupied by Italy.
