The Netherlands is a country where euthanasia is an option, and we are all familiar with it. When we suffer from physical pain, after diagnosis by a doctor, the disease is judged to be irreversible and the patient suffers from pain, with the consent of the doctor, euthanasia can be chosen to prevent the patient from suffering so much.

The Teenagers' Thoughts : If it were a little different!
I love writing journals! But they all were for myself. But this one is for everyone out there finding it difficult to cope up with life. Especially for teenagers like me, who think that all the problems of the world is in their lives! At this point of time, everything has became far more difficult because of competition! But for teenagers it is even more difficult. We don't know much about the world, but suddenly we are thrown in the trap of competition! Entrances, stress about career, rat race of becoming independent (both financialky and mentally), friends, love, cheats and so much things, that we don't know what to do! And eventually, we fall in the depth of depression! We are told that we have to fight, But no one makes us aware of the fact that we have to take rest also. We have to rejuvenate our energy to come back stronger! We are told that we have to make friends, But no one makes us aware that we will get cheated and broken in this process! No one asks us to keep our guards up to tolerate that pain! We are told that Love is the strongest emotion! But no one tells us that not everyone deserves that emotion. That we will get our heart broken so many times in the process of finding our true love! We are asked to be mature. But no one tells us that in the process of becoming mature, we will broke so many times that we will loose the wish to live. That we will stop trusting everyone including ourselves. No one makes us aware of the monsters waiting out there. If it were done, then we would have came stronger, ready to fight the demons. We are asked to win! Winning at every point of life. But we are not told that every winner was once a loser. That we should accept the failures in the same way we accept success. That we should not start questioning our abilities at every small failure, but should learn from those. No one tells us that winners are those who make themselves better by learning from their failures and improving their mistakes.
