THE TRUTH WHY CLOWNS TERRIFY US
THE TRUTH WHY CLOWNS TERRIFY US I mean who doesn't love red-nosed, white-faced, goofy-haired performers who juggle and make balloon animals for a living right? Well apparently a lot of people don't, and there's a weird reason behind it. So let's dive into something that gives us goosebumps and makes us want to hide under the covers. Have you ever heard of coulrophobia? It is the medical term for a fear of clowns. People who have it experience intense fear and anxiety when around clowns, sometimes to the point where they can't even look at a picture of one without getting sick. As for why clowns are so frightful, science has determined that there are a number of reasons for this. Beginning with the clown's overdone makeup, which generally hides their genuine identity and makes them appear completely different, can be unnerving. According to scientists, we sometimes find clowns frightening because we can't seem to figure out what's going on behind those big fake smiles or with their true intentions. Their large shoes don't help either; they are several sizes too big, making clowns look clumsy and uncoordinated. We also find clowns frightening because of the way they behave. Since clowns are notorious for being unpredictable and mischievous, it might be difficult to predict what they'll do next and that unpredictability can also be frightful; for example, Pennywise the eerie clown from Stephen King's novel, It may appear to be a friendly clown at first, but don't be fooled—he's actually a shape-shifting monster that enjoys hurting people. The Joker, a notorious villain who was constantly at odds with Batman, is also included on the list. These tales do nothing to enhance the reputation of the honest clown, so where did they come from? Let's examine their history, but let's be clear: clowns are not funny people According to history and mythology, they've been around for a very long time. In ancient civilizations like Egypt or Rome, people would perform comedic acts to entertain other people. These performers were known as fools or jesters and they were highly respected in their communities. Fast forward to the modern era, and these performers are like the superheroes of the circus world. They bring joy and laughter to the masses while wearing a silly outfit.More importantly, some authorities didn't like the idea of people making jokes and having fun, so they outright banned comedic performances. However, people weren't going to take this lying down, so they devised secret societies of clowns who would perform in the streets and at private parties while donning masks and costumes to conceal their true identities. Eventually, the ban was lifted, and clowns were once again permitted to perform in public. Have you ever seen the king of clowns? If you've never heard of him, let me tell you Joseph's tale. Joe Grimaldi was a total Superstar from the start. He had a clowning style that was totally unique for that time. His costume was unsettling because it made him look like a strange nightmare. His flamboyant colors and Spangled attire made him look like a circus freak. Yes, my tongue got twisted on that one. Joe was an absolute Legend in his field of work. He was born back in 1778 before smartphones and Tik Tok took over the world. His antics were so amusing that he immediately became well-known throughout London. Joey the Clown was one of Joe's most well-known characters. He was a lovable bumbling clown who just couldn't seem to get anything right; he was constantly falling over, tripping over things, and generally making a fool of himself, but that's what made him so great; people loved him for his silliness. Joe had this amazing ability to make people laugh without ever saying a word. However, Joe's life wasn't all giggles and laughter.Even in his darkest moments, Joe never lost his sense of humor. He always found a way to make people smile, even when he was struggling himself. That said, not all clowns were known for being outrageous and upbeat. With that in mind, allow me to share a tale about a different kind of clown. Emmett Kelly was born in Kansas in 1898. Emmett was a strong man who utilized his sense of humor to get through difficult circumstances when he was a young man. Emmett didn't have an easy upbringing because his family was relatively poor and his parents divorced while he was still a youngster. He was a natural addict because he also had a lot of other talents that made him stand out for one thing: he was an amazing pantomime artist, which means he could tell a whole story by using his body and facial expressions. He could make you laugh, cry, or feel fear. When he first joined the circus, he began as a trapeze artist swinging through the air on a big suspended contraption. However, he quickly realized that his true Talent was in making people laugh, Emmett was also gifted at Weary Willy was one of his most well-known routines. He was a sad clown who always seemed to be in bad luck, but despite his sadness, he was also funny, and you couldn't help but laugh at him at the same time. Another really well-known clown was grunt, whose real name was Charles Adrian WETA. He was a Swiss clown who rose to fame in the 1960s; he could balance objects on his nose, forehead, tip of his finger, and even a razor-sharp meat cleaver, if you can believe it. But it wasn't just his juggling that made Grok a hit; he was also a fantastic musician; he played the piano, accordion, violin, and more. And he didn't just play these instruments; he also played the drums, the guitar, and the piano, Although he received mixed reviews, grok once said that laughter is the Sun that drives winter from the human face. If you watch one of his performances, I bet you can't help but smile. He also once played the piano while standing on his head. There are still plenty of clowns working professionally across the world, and you can find them in a variety of places such circuses, amusement parks, schools, malls, and other places where genuine laughter is desired.hospital even If you're interested in becoming one, you might want to keep in mind that 95 percent of clowns work hard and have other jobs to supplement their incomes. With that, I'll stop clowning around. The estimated number of professional clowns worldwide ranges from 50 000 to 100 000.
