Seconds to Milliseconds
The deafening grind of the propellers split our ears like a rusty bike spoke. Death was upon us! Bouncing around in our seats like puppets, out popped little golden emergency mouth pieces dangling from the ceiling of the plane. Presumably, three rolls down, and two seats to the left a woman sat struggling viciously with her life vest. Mass hysteria painted on her face like distorted make-up she held her belly tight. Her round belly refused to be strapped in. A pool of water collected in her eyes an streamed down her cheeks as her husband forced the vest closed. âIs she pregnant?â, a passenger asked. His teeth chattering loudly as he murmured, âSheâs due any dayâ, you could sense the worry in his tone.

The Implications of True Belief
This is not the first article ever written on the subject of free will. Whether in relation to God or Government, or both, it seems that most people have had concerns about whether they were truly free, and the implications of their answer to that question.

The Road To Autumn
Long winding roads, leaves of oranges, yellows, and red full of amber and maroon. Tires speed down the blacktop roads, streaks of white and yellow whizzing by in a blurry daze. The foggy sky full of blackened clouds lifts only for a moment to allow a touch of sunlight to hit his face through the windshield of the car. Driving along with the radio on a low volume he hums along while thinking of her. His Autumn, the woman who's name still brings a smile to his face and fills his heart with joy even after all of these years. The saying is true: It is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all. Well this is his loved and lost story. It has been many moons since he last thought of Autumn. Her silky auburn hair, her vibrant smile as it shows her pearly white teeth, and her gorgeous ocean blue eyes. When he looked into them he would feel as if he was swimming in the deepest waters, floating into eternity, and as if he was as light as a feather before it falls gently to the ground.

Short Fiction: Upgrade
With hindsight, the early days of the relationship was the best time. Always in each otherâs company, the constant touching and exploring. Being the main focus of your loveâs attention is a wonderful feeling. She would hold me, stroke me and gaze at me. I felt special, like it was her and me against the world. I even tried to communicate with her, sending a message of love, but she didnât recognise the number and got a bit freaked out. I didnât try again.

Colors
His name was Azure. He was named after his eyes, for when he first opened them they were the most vibrant shade of blue ever seen on a child. People used to crowd around his crib chattering and chittering like birds; they would foolishly exclaim that they put the sky to shame even on its bluest day. He was often found sitting in solitude, mostly in places where he could watch the world bend and break underneath the pressure of manâs weight. In school, he always sat by the window, regardless of the seat his teacherâs assigned. His classmates would watch him in awe, whispering to each other that if one looked close enough they could watch his thoughts form underneath the mop of mahogany that grew on his head and then marvel as the thoughts danced out of his ears. On days that had peculiarly fluffy clouds, they would say that they were full of Azureâs thoughts. People adored his laidback personality, one felt calm when they were by his side. If someone were to interrupt his thoughts, he would greet them with a friendly smile. Outwardly, he was as calm as the surface of a river on a windless day, but he held so many emotions inside of his ever-thoughtful mind. Such emotions remained secure within his person until he met her: his sun and moon.

Should "Friend Marriages" Be a Thing?
It was really just a joke. I was chatting to a couple of single girlfriends about our love lives (or lack thereof) and the plight of single women in their 30s who want to have kids but arenât ready to give up on romance and just settle down with a convenient person in order to build a family.

Tulips In The Garden
Every spring there comes a time when the flowers of my garden bloom. They adorn the green, grassy landscape with a rainbow of beauty in all shapes and sizes. The yellow tulips are my favorite. I care for them for months on end, washing their delicate petals, and cleaning their fragile stems. Their beauty can only be obtained one day of every year. When it is time for me to sit and have a spot of tea with an old friend. Yellow was her favorite color and the warm soil reminds me of her once beating heart when it slips through my fingers. What a tragic day it was when she left this earth, a day that me nor this garden will ever forget. In the early morning, I watch as the petals expand, revealing a gorgeous bright yellow center. Tears stream down my face as I envision her short yellow dress she loved to twirl in. The same dress sheâd be wearing when I see my dearest friend with a cup of her favorite jasmine green tea, four cubes of sugar.
