Being a Stand-in Girlfriend
“I just—I don’t want to be a stand-in to you.” Stand-in sounded so hateful coming out of my mouth. The words did carry a lot of hate, though. I had said the words a million times to him, yet this was the first time I actually meant them and wasn’t just seeking validation by his denial. No hatred or anger was directed towards him, but towards the situation I faced. I hated knowing that I was being replaced in the coming days, and my once nonexistent insecurities and confusion seemed to ooze out of my pores like the hangover I knew I was going to have tomorrow morning.

Crashes Through Houses
As a single mom on the online dating scene, I had my fair share of bad dates. There were some real doozies. There was the one where he showed up looking like a completely different person than his profile pic; as in different build, different hair color, different face, etc. The one where he was wearing white athletic socks with black dress shoes and shorts. There was the one where he took me to an art exhibit and the artist happened to be one I’d posed nude for in college. There was the one were I got way too drunk and woke up in a huge house with an airplane parked out back, but it turned out it wasn’t his house or his airplane. I think the one that stands out, though, is the one my friends and I still refer to as “Mr. Crashes Through Houses.” We’ll call him Crash.

At First I Thought I Loved Her!
Glory be to God — but it’s Gloria I’m writing about, and it’s a little scary! We first met at Universal City, where Gloria had a bit-part in a film and I was hoping to interview a feisty English actress for a US magazine. I was very taken by Gloria when I first saw her. She had a great figure with incredible legs and dark eyes that drew you to her in the hope that one might discover a little more about this amazing woman.

What Is a ENFP Relationship?
If there's one thing that's really become popular lately, it's the Myers-Briggs personality type studies circulating the net. Of the 16 different personalities out there, the ENFP personality type might be one of the most heavily misunderstood.

The Love Drug
It all began the middle of my 6th grade year. I had gone to this amazing Christian Youth Event called Fusion 3D. It was here that I met... him. He was one of my "boyfriends" (cough cough crush who I wasn't allowed to date) best friends. He was handsome and a total bad boy; every 13 year old girls' dream! I had met him before that night since we practically grew up together but this was different. He was different. He was cuter, more dashing, and all the girls wanted to be with him. I was the lucky one that he caught in his net. He started his trap by flirting with me when I was with my boyfriend. Luckily my observant boyfriend was not-so-observant. This gave me a chance to create my fairytale romance. A damsel in distress who met a dashing villain. Of course my "fairytale" didn't begin quite yet but this was a start. My "boyfriend" decided to break my heart towards the end of 7th grade because he has fallen for my friend instead. Not only did he break my heart but his new girlfriend, that he left me for, found me later at school had asked for my PERMISSION to date him.

Addicted to Violence Part 1
Hands around my throat, heavy breathing, screaming, bodies writhing together. It sounds like something out of an erotic novel, but this was the worst night of my life.... or at least it would seem that way. To fully understand, I'll have to take you back to the very beginning of this story.

The Worst Date That Didn't Happen
#MyWorstDate "Women's worst fear for a blind date with a man is that he'll kill her. Men's worst fear is that the woman will be fat." I've seen a few variations on this statement on the social media sphere. And though using "studies show" as the first two words of a meme often doesn't mean there was a study, I believe it. Though as a lesbian, it doesn't apply to me. Could that cute young lady I matched with on Tinder be a rapist or murderer? Yeah, it's possible. But it's not the fear that repeats itself over and over again in my head before I set out to meet her. That would be, "What if she doesn't show up without an explanation?" Not because it's a worst-case scenario, but because it's a likely one that has made me feel like shit when it's happened.

Grindr and Pets Birds Don’t Mix Well
So I had just turned 18 and I had been using Grindr (a gay hookup app) just to peruse and look before I was of legal age, but now that I was old enough, I wanted to give it a real try. I was looking at and talking to some guys but there was one guy who caught my attention. He was a good looking guy (at least in his pictures). I sent him a message not expecting a response right away, but to my surprise he responded in 30 seconds.

#MyWorstDate Distant Boys and Dog Slobber
I had been seeing this guy for a few moths, let's call him Mark, and we finally decided to go on a date. I know strange right? I left it all for him to plan and asked that he picked me up. The time rolls around for this date and he's nowhere to be found. I try texting, nothing. I try calling, nothing. He shows up half an hour late with his mom driving and comes up to my door. I'm just wanting to leave but my father has other ideas. He starts playing 20 questions with Mark who is already freaked out to even be in my house but then he notices the antique WW1 musket we have hanging on our wall and the boy almost pissed himself. My father was across the room from where the gun, which doesn't even work, is hanging and I see tears in his eyes as if he's seeing Jesus.
