Things That Make My Heart Sing
Some things in life are just right. Like my children and friendships and family, our pets; notebooks and really nice pens; books, leaves, sea glass and interesting sticks; a library, a fireplace, window seats and lots of light; long curtains, the smell of spices and shelves with interesting things on them; boxes and tins; a warm kitchen, comfy sofa and many, many blankets.

Thoughts on July 19, 2021
Well, today was a busy day, to say the least; We had a new girl that just started, along with another girl who has not been there that long, doing pretty good. However, they need more work in areas of the restaurant business. It is so hard in this day and time that you cannot tell anyone anything for fear that it will make them mad and quit. The struggles are real; when it comes to finding people who want to work. Show off their skills and traits to the public. Sometimes you come across a few here and there who want to do the job and do it to the best of their ability or the highest standards. However, most of what we end up with are the ones that do not want to do all the work and think they know everything about the world. There are times that you have to bite your tongue for fear of saying something wrong; then there goes your reputation and career all in one swoop. These days people can be so rude people act the way they do in the workplace. It scares her so much because of the way the world is going! With the killings, robberies, and riots everywhere in the world! Not everyone understands the crime and chaos happening.

Dear Lex, Well..idk if I can share all the personal stuff here but I jus need some advice on this..Im an 18 yr old girl..and idk..its jus I feel like I don't really enjoy the company of my family at times..Its probably coz I nvr get to go out with my frnds..Ive had a pretty sheltered life so far..but I gues its coz of my age ..I really want to enjoy life..but..I only end up being with my family..I was kinda used to it so far..but..its been a year now..I spend all my time with them now..coz of Covid obviously at home most of the time..I love my family so much they are everything to me..but..I feel bad for not liking to spend time with them at times..I jus need some advice to clear this thought of my head..also I am not myself around them..so its exhausting and I can't b straightforward with them coz I don't wanna hurt them..wht do I do?

When is it too Late to Apologize?
Dear Lex, 3 years ago my cousin and i had a fight. We have not talked since that night. A couple of months after that, I realized how wrong I was in the situation. Lately i been thinking about the situation but now I am wondering if it is too late to apologize. We have been in a lot of small fights but after this one we just never talked again.
