27 More Minutes
My Dad was a jokester, he had been his whole life. He was a very funny man and could always make everyone laugh. He would do random triple lutz in the living room and handstands in the backyard with me, even as an older man, I'm talking into his 60's.

As Darkness Descends
It’s bizarre how even supposedly “educated” people are paranoid, distrustful, & not believing in science. A few days ago, I discovered & shared with some of my e-mail contacts a video https://weather.com/health/video/researchers-find-dangerous-chemicals-in-natural-gas-used-in-homes which warns of the danger of cooking with gas in one’s home due to the chemicals released & left by the burning gas. Its explosive qualities & the danger of leaks were not even mentioned, although in this day & age I would not take anything for granted as being “common knowledge.”

The potential risks of allowing children access to the internet
While some parents may consider themselves good with technology, a surprising number admit to having a lack of knowledge when it comes to keeping their children safe online. According to figures produced by Ofcom and quoted by the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) of those homes in which children have access to the internet almost half of parents (48%) with children in the 5 to 15 age range think they know less about the internet than their children do. This rises to 70% of parents of 12-15 year olds. In addition, 33% of children age 12 to 17 claim their parents do not know what they do online (Ofcom 2011).

F&ck Perfection
Perfect can be defined as something without flaws or imperfections. Here's a little secret, nothing and nobody is perfect. So if that's the case why are we constantly striving for it? Why are we constantly trying to be perfect. Here's the secret, we've all done things we aren't proud of, we all have regrets and we've all hurt people over the course of our lives. So again why are we constantly striving for it? We need to stop striving for perfection because its not realistic. There is no such thing as perfect. Nothing is without flaws. Everything has flaws. So we need to stop thinking there is a concept of perfection. What can we do instead? We can do our best at everything we do and make great strides towards positive changes. Perfection is not realistic. So we need to embrace our imperfections and understand that they make us who we are. They add to our personalities and make us loved even more by those around us. If everyone was perfect the world would be extremely boring. We also wouldn't have the chance to learn lessons that will help us in the long run and make us stronger people. We need to make mistakes. How else are we going to learn? We can't learn by being perfect. As much as mistakes hurt we have to make them.

The #1 Hook a Scammer Used to Almost "Get" Me
It never occurred to me that I could be the victim of a scammer. I am too smart and savvy to get scammed. I’m not one of those sweet, trusting old ladies who believe that a long-lost uncle in India (I’ve done the Ancestry DNA thing — not a drop of Indian blood) has left me millions of $$ if I wire him a handling fee of $5,000. I mean, seriously, who falls for such nonsense?
