Keep your head turned for 30 seconds, then quickly roll onto your other side for another 30 seconds. Finally, roll onto your back for a few seconds and then quickly sit up. It is important to keep your eyes closed during this maneuver, as the sudden movement of the head can make you feel nauseous or dizzy.

For best results, it is recommended that you do the Semont Maneuver twice a day for a few days or until the dizziness subsides. After doing the Semont Maneuver, you may need to remain lying down for 15-20 minutes as it takes some time for the calcium carbonate crystals to settle back into their proper position in the inner ear. If your symptoms do not improve after two or three attempts at this maneuver, it is advised that you consult your doctor.

The Brandt-Daroff Exercise
