Dreams to Those Who Dream

The true beauty one takes with them forever are the dreams within their heart.” -me

It was a dark and dreary day as Jacob walked down the street. The sun had shined brightly in his heart, but everywhere he looked there was only gray around him. A glimmer caught his eye from far in the distance, as a field mouse ran across an open spot way in the back of the yard.

The field mouse had jumped over and across the pipe. Jacob could see that within the pipe something was sticking half out of it. Amazed he had seen something from such a distance, and whilst walking down the country lane, Jacob decided to go check it out. Perhaps it was something he should’ve noticed or something that someone, or something, had brought to his attention.

Jacob had read sometime ago in school the story of a man who was brilliant and gifted. He was placed on an island amongst crazy people to be quarantined because he was seen as too much of a threat to his normal common place society. The man knew he was right. He knew he was there for a better day, to change the world and the future for a brighter time, but most of society didn’t see it that way. The character of the book had been placed on the island as to cause no more trouble and to doubt his own abilities. Although his English teacher wasn’t his favorite, Jacob often used this book as one in the same with himself. Although the sun shone brightly within his heart, everywhere he looked there was only gray around him. The more he tried to encourage others the more his heart just fell and broke.

Jacob had been taught by some of the best teachers and Senseis the country. He believed every word that they said, they were spoken as truths. Jacob believed that they were truths, every single one of them.

He believed with all his heart.

Now when Jacob went off into everyday society and into town to his menial tasks and his menial labor job he was to spread this light among them, for people to believe in themselves. He did not just see the people as the menial tasks they were chained into doing, but as the highest, purest, freest version of themselves that they were truly created to be here on this planet which he lived.

Jacob knew the teachings that were gifted to him were very, very, precious things. He also knew that they were truths and by them being truth they could be used by any man of any nation. They were to make an order to create a better tomorrow and a better future for all, but most of all by beginning with himself, or themselves rather.

So although his heart had been saddened at the amount of disbelief that his truths are always met with he still continued on with all of his heart and would until his very last day. He would continue to put these truths into operation knowing that if he continued he could help many others along the way. As so the conversation went that Jacob had as he walked down this very familiar lane to his menial task and his menial job each day. They gave him enough to survive, but not much to make means beyond that.

With every day and with his heart, he tried everything he could to be his fullest potential, an expression of himself, that he possibly could. He did this by living these truths and encouraging others every chance that he got.

Although he did this, with each day that passes he was heartbroken little bit more because he watched others soar beyond him. Still every day he went to his menial task and his menial job to make medial means and start over again the next day.

He struggled with this because he knew what the truths were and he studied them from world class scholars and Senseis, the best in the land. He had been considered gifted and was willing to use this opportunity to help others. He was willing to step out of his warrior class and use it in a new and different way, even more so than his predecessors had before.

Part of him believed that perhaps he had been too gifted and too powerful. Perhaps it was like the samurai of many legends before with special privileges, but never allowed to be more than a certain class for they would be too powerful to be set free. Jacob pondered this as he pondered this every day as he went down the country lane to his medial task and his menial job to make his medial means.

Jacob studied the most beautiful epiphanies and truths and sayings and took them to heart. He painted his world with them, but as soon as he touched through that screen to reality, it all just turned dark.

With a sigh and a broken heart, he would just simply nod and smile then go back to being a normal service worker. He was looked down on by those in society that were above him, but looked up at by those that were truly above him.

He knew in his heart what was true, but he just couldn’t understand what more it would take to put him in the place he truly belonged, powerful and free. Many had been dreaming many, many centuries and many, many lifetimes for this very beautiful and special gift. What Jacob didn’t know was his teachers admire him a lot, even more so than they let on, for they too knew how powerful he was. Jacob was just guessing in the dark, but they truly knew. What Jacob also didn’t know is he hadn’t quite made the best of what he’d been given. He’d been thankful, grateful, and truly honored everything he’d been given. He had wanted to do his best, but the one thing he didn’t do was realize that everything he was looking for was right here right now.

Jacob thought as he was always the one to believe in fairytales and miracles. Across the muddied road and along the creek to the far of the yard to the mysterious glimmer he went. “Why it’s a little black book...” Jacob deduced to himself as he leaned in closer to pull it away from the spot in which it lay. Removing the silver banding while flipping through the pages he saw expense accounts for the most extravagant and trivial things upon things. They totaled large sums of money and amounts Jacob could only comprehend if he stopped to contemplate.

“Is that what it’s all about?” He wondered silently yet halfheartedly. This entire time he had never once thought about riches or wealth but only the longing to be free and to set others free. Surely there must be some integrity and esteem in that too, right?

He had set the book down and began to walk away when something else had caught his attention. It was in his heart, that he always all along had been free and the true wealth was in his heart.

It could not be bought or found, but made

The large sum of wealth was the power to believe with all of his heart, in his heart. The only true wealth is the dream in your heart and the power to believe.

Maybe that’s the way... I’ll keep trying.
