Inappropriate and Indecisive
Chapter One I could have written a hundred pages on what he looked like, as well as his personality, described both the good and the bad sides. I have so much to say about myself, my feelings and my views of the world, about our relationship, how it was built and what it consisted of. This is a piece of what happens in one’s head when being misled, betrayed, and ignored by someone you had trusted with your heart.

She Can, He Can
So me, my Mom, and my sister were on our way home and talking about cutting beards or whatever and I brought up how stupid it was for some women to ask their partner to shave a beard they clearly love having. I didn’t mean they shouldn’t ask, but just hear me out.

Domesticity
It's a cool fall morning and the air is crisp enough to freeze the tip of your nose. It is the perfect morning, perhaps, for a jog; a nice temperature for an activity that gets your blood pumping. It is also the perfect kind of morning to, say, read a book and have a cup of coffee. Which is exactly what Felicity is doing on this cool fall morning.

The Thing About Age Difference
When I went to the club that one night in January I never imagined how much it would change my life. No matter how big a cliché it might be. I was way too drunk and a friend of mine had somehow convinced me to dance with her. But in the middle of embarrassing myself on the dancefloor, an unfamiliar girl laid a hand on my shoulder and asked about my name. I greeted her and told her. I remember her secretive smile when she whispered in my hear: "My friend over there wants to talk to you, but he is too shy to approach you." My cheeks turned pink and I felt so grateful that the dark was covering it up.

Cold Summer
He stood there at the window of the home as the sunlight that should have been warm drenched over his head and shoulders. It was late June, yet the sunlight felt cold to him, like Father Death’s hands wrapping around his throat and strangling him like some kind of madman. It was as if the world were trying to suffocate him and take him down for all he was.

Deja Vu Moment
*Sigh* If I may be frank, but I honestly cannot begin to wrap my head around this mere simple fact, that what had happened that day... changed my perspective - completely! It perplexes me in a profound way of how the body and mind coincide to have this mutual epiphany, that results in a rather strange, yet intriguing, manifestation. One that seemed to have been a tragedy, but more or less had a positive outlook in the end.

Emily Hates Kindergarden
“Emmy, don’t forget your blanket sweetie!” The four year old girl turned around to obediently get her blanket from the car and closed the door behind her. She waited for her mother to get out of the car, walk to the passenger side and take her hand. Emily never crossed the parking lot without holding a grownup’s hand. That was one of the big ‘don’t dos.’

Ghosting
Almost everyone knows what ghosting is. If you don't know what it is, it's where people stop texting or calling. They just fall off the face of the planet with out explanation. It usually happens among people who are dating but it's incredibly annoying and frustrating. It also happens among friends too. I usually move on after a month of someone ghosting. I figure if you don't care to tell me what's going on, then you don't care. What? You got so busy and you couldn't tell me? And I'm supposed to wait for you? Nope, sorry, not buying it. Sometimes people do ghost deep into the relationship and it confuses the other person. I think if you ghost the other person has every right to move on and forget about you, especially if it's been a month or more. Now if you warn the person, "hey I'll be busy for awhile" it's not really ghosting, it's just life. If you do warn them it has to to lead to a conversation about what to do if you go a month or more without communication.

I Was Demoted After Being Sexually Harassed. Top Story - September 2017.
I've worked every entry level job under the sun; some for days, some for years. I've done everything from answering phones behind a desk, to flipping burgers in a greasy kitchen. However, even with a varying background of experience, nothing could have prepared me for this.
