Out With the Old in With the New!
To the romantics, who over think every detail trying to make that first date perfect, to the old school kids, still waiting for that knight in shining armor, to the chivalrous people, waiting for someone to take a chance on them, times have changed in the dating world. It is so easy to be set up for failure with the new world of online dating. It's so hard to find someone genuine whilst too easy to be someone that you're not. Online dating has made cat-fishing all too common. So to those who are still holding out for the old school kind of date this is our tribute. Our "So long," if you will.

#MyWorstDate...NYE
#MyWorstDate wasn't really what I would call a date... It was NYE 2016 and my friends threw their annual house party. I was wearing my favourite scarlet red mini dress I had bought in Montreal and I was in peak party mode. People were filtering in and out of the house throughout the night and I, being the social butterfly that I am, was wandering around and briefly chatting with whoever paid any mind to me.

High School Sweetheart
Most people dream about having a high school sweetheart and one day marrying them. As an adolescent, I never thought I was pretty or popular enough to achieve this goal until my sophomore year of high school when I met Tim. He wasn't a jock or anything but compared to me he was very popular. We shared a mutual friend and one day I confided in her that I was crushing on Tim. She ran and told him and he laughed and replied that he likes girls with a little meat on their bones. I wasn't too shocked, it has been what I have heard from everyone all my life. I took with a grain of salt and pushed Tim out of my mind.

#MyWorstDate
I rubbed my sore eyes, flinching at the light and trying to tell which way was up. The night before I'd been at a house party, a kind of reunion with some school friends who, while we shared the same city, they had gone to other universities to me. So there I'd been, surrounded by hormonal students whom were determined to make me feel welcome and too drunk to care how much alcohol they gave away to me. It was great. I laughed, I danced, I flirted, I drank, I fell into a taxi and somehow stumbled to bed at some ungodly hour of the morning.

Are We a Couple?
I am going to be totally honest when I say that I have never been in a committed relationship before. Twenty years of age and I've been on my fair share of dates but they never went as far as the first, maybe second date if I was lucky. I am completely oblivious when it comes to dating. I have all these questions, like what do you do with them?

My Not-So-Future Husband
This is the horrific recap of #MyWorstDate in all its terrifying glory. *** High school is filled with dreadful memories and embarrassing hiccups in judgment. When it comes to having a high school crush, all judgment is thrown out the window. Sure, he might have a bad rap and every grown-up within a 20-mile range hates him, but he is THE ONE. Right? After months of trying to get into his clique of friends and spending hours trying to look perfect for a chance encounter in the hallways between classes he finally did it. He asked me out on an actual date.

30 Questions to Keep a Conversation Going!
You know when you're on that first date, sharing pleasant smiles, first drinks, and asking questions about each other that we probably already knew the answer to from the social media we stalked earlier. But then the dreaded awkward silence creeps in and even if you were having a good time, the gaps between conversation are sometimes inevitable. In which case, these questions might save the date. But maybe not all of them! Some are a bit deep for a first date, so maybe save those ones for later. :)

Lingerie on the First Date
We met at UCLA, our dream school. We were freshman starting a new job, at the on-campus candy shop. Both of us were from rural areas north of Los Angeles and we became fast friends! We were both finding our footing and we did it together. We shared our history from our small towns, we shared our fears of being at such a huge school, and we shared a decent, long lasting friendship.
