How to Know if he’s worth it?
Things to look for and to know your worth....

I’m here to share advice and personal experiences in my love life.
The one question a lot of people hold, whether you’re a girl or boy or person, we all want to know if he’s worth it.
My answer is.... if he wants to be worth it. I’ve always been told “you’ll know if he’s the one” “if he really liked you there’s nothing to worry about” and that might be true but as far as I see it we’re all humans. Therefore mistakes are made. But in our generation the dating culture is drastically different to what we read in books and see on tv. I would definitely want a man to care for me so much and do cheesy things like serenade me at my window, however, realistically I know that I’d probably find that annoying.
What I have noticed; especially in my love life is that I always feel as if I give more to the relationship than I get back and I tolerate more of them than they do of me. Which has left me subject to common things such as ghosting or in one case verbal and mental mannipulation (maybe even abuse).
My one piece of advise to know if he is worth it is in the way he treats you. If you’re crying every night blaming yourself for his mistakes - he is not worth it. If you feel guilty for trying to explain what has upset you - he is not worth it. If you start heavily overthinking and aren’t offered support - he is not worth it. The point I would heavily iterate is if your mental health deteriates because of him - he is not worth it.
Shockingly, there are lovely people who will go to the ends of the earth for you and love you for you. Without making you feel inferior. In this society we are taught we deserve what we get and that’s so not true. If something doesn’t make you happy you have every right to leave and persue better opportunities. And if you’re telling yourself right now; what if I hurt him? Do you think he thinks about the way he hurts you when he does those things that makes you think “is he worth it”.
I’m not here to tell you how to live your life, but I have felt all those things I’ve written about. It’s not somewhere I would want to go back. You’re not alone. You deserve better.
Thanks for reading!!! :)
