Like any real housewife, you know how important it is for you and your family to keep your home clean. In addition to the tidy appearance of the house, the health effects are much improved.

Microbes and viruses are less likely to survive in a sanitized environment and cannot grow.

Although you may think that you have to clean every place in the house just as often, the truth is that certain items do not need to be cleaned, especially when you do not use them often or not at all. It's time to put the mop and gloves aside and completely reschedule your cleaning schedule, as you'll find below.

How often should you clean every place in the house?

Daily

To avoid unsightly traces of water, get used to wiping kitchen tiles with a soft cloth, especially after you finish washing the dishes.

Don't forget the bathroom tiles. The bath must always be dry because this is the only way mold and bacteria cannot grow.

Use enzymatic, sustainable cleaning products for all these sensitive spaces, to protect the environment at the same time as you clean your house. Get rid of toxins! Get rid of gloves!

Dishes must be washed daily. Do not leave the plates in the sink overnight and soak them for no more than an hour. Dirty water is a perfect environment for bacteria to grow.

Also, the table you are used to eating and the kitchen counter should be cleaned and wiped daily, and food scraps should be thrown away.

We all tend to let our clothes gather to wash them, but this is not good for our health. It is good to wash your clothes every day because in this way the bacteria do not have time to multiply.

Weekly

Bed linen must be washed separately from the rest of the clothes, at a high temperature, depending on the material.

The kitchen floor should be swept every day, but washing can be done weekly with a mop. If you have a small kitchen, children, or pets, clean the floor 3 times a week.

Bathroom cabinets should be cleaned with the disinfectant solution every week, and the toothbrush should be kept inside, not outdoors, next to the soap.

The furniture should be wiped with a soft cloth that does not leave marks or scratches.

Monthly

The microwave oven can be cleaned with baking soda. It is perfect for metal dishes and can remove odors just as effectively.

When emptying the vacuum cleaner bag, don't forget to clean the house at least once a month.

Blinds and air conditioning must first be vacuumed, then wiped with a solution obtained from soap and water.

Lamps and chandeliers can be effectively cleaned with soft brushes that do not scratch the glass.

3–6 months

Baking soda can help you get rid of unpleasant odors from the refrigerator but also clean up any dirt inside it.

Quilts and blankets must be washed during this time. If you can't do this, leave them in the sun for at least a few hours a week.

Shower curtains can be cleaned and sanitized by washing them in the washing machine.

The oven must be heated for at least 20 minutes before being cleaned with detergent. This will make the fat much easier to remove.

Annual

Curtains and drapes should not be washed too often. You can clean them annually with the help of the washing machine. If you have pets in your home, then it is advisable to do this once every 6 months.

Never wash the windows on sunny days, because the cleaning solutions, applied to the hot glass, dry quickly and so many marks will remain. If your windows are facing crowded streets, clean the windows every 6 months.

Carpets can be cleaned with special detergents, but also taken to the laundry. If you have children in your home or pets, wash them more often, about twice a year.
