You can swipe right on this Instagram post below to see the video.
Well, after the video started going viral, people had a lot to say about it. Some thought it was unfair what people at the event did to her, while others thought she deserved it. Well, now Blessing CEO is speaking out about her thoughts on the whole ordeal. Here is what Blessing CEO had to say about the event and the comments.

During her interview with The Punch, Blessing CEO first talked about why she left her first marriage because of beatings, Bimbo (the deceased wife of Ikechukwu Ogbonna), and her therapy business. Blessing CEO said:
It was when the beatings got too much (that I decided to leave). When one allows toxicity and violence, it increases. I had allowed it to a point that it became so violent. When it got to that point, I knew I could not stay any longer. If she [Bimbo, deceased wife of popular auto dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna] had gone for therapy, it would have solved the problem. People tend to ‘respect themselves’ when they speak to a therapist because a therapist is a professional and neutral figure. Nigerians seek therapy, and I know that because I have an office in Lekki, Lagos. People think that when one goes for therapy, it is akin to going to visit a native doctor or mental home. That is why I made my office luxurious, so that people can be comfortable"
Then speaking about the incident of people shouting 'surgery preferable' at her during an event, Blessing CEO said to The Punch:
I did not even hear what they were saying. I just knew they were chanting from the back. It was on a blog I watched the video and heard what they said. I was even telling my team that if I had heard what they said, I would have twerked my butt for them.
This is not the first time Blessing is talking about this event. Actually, Blessing CEO also spoke about the incident few moments after the event. During a chat with Legit, Blessing CEO said:
It's the way I trend effortlessly, even while minding my business and shaking my yansh. The part where I got an award for the most influential personality of the year won't trend because haters don't like that.

What do you think about what Blessing CEO had to say, and what do you think about what happened to her during the event?
