For some reason British born Africans who are first and second generation British citizens seem to only feel like they're British when a White person questions their background. However an British influencer who is of African parents seems to think it's a noval idea to ask people where their from.

Again though if this was a white person this would be considered insulting to Black people.

Prince William's godmother Lady Susan Hussey RESIGNS from Buckingham Palace role after 'quizzing black charity founder about what part of Africa she is from' - as race row threatens to overshadow Cambridges' landmark US tour today

Lady Susan Hussey, one of Queen Consort Camilla's closest aides, quit today after she allegedly refused to believe a black domestic abuse campaigner was British and asked her: 'What part of Africa are you from?'

Ngozi Fulani, director of the east London charity Sistah Space, said she was so shocked by the incident at Buckingham Palace yesterday that she 'couldn't report it to the Queen Consort' who had thrown the reception.

She told the Mirror: 'It was prolonged racism. It was like an interrogation. This wasn't just a few seconds, it was concerted over several minutes. It felt, as three black women, that we were trespassers, that we were not welcome or accepted as British'.

The fact that the people are born in other countries, raised and educated in these countries, however when he asks "Where are you from?" They often say the countries in which their parents are from. He then asks them what is something that people don't know about said African country.

Those questioned usually name something about the country, however often times the things they name are not correct.

People in the comments, who are usually from various African countries usually correct them when their wrong. A perfect example is when the influencer himself doesn't know how many countries there are in Africa.

One woman stopped on the streets of the UK was asked where she's from, she said Jamaica, she then said that Jamaicans were called "duppies" they were "slaves" all from Ghana, she said they mated with the Natives in Jamaica and created Jamaicans.

Yes, it's as stupid as it sounds, she's claiming #1 that the Natives on the island of Jamaica aren't Jamaicans until they intermixed with the "slaves" from Ghana.

She didn't call them humans or Africans or even Ghanians, she called them slaves and said they "got naughty" with the Natives on the Islands and created Jamaicans. By the way the word "duffies" is ghosts.

we Jamaicans are the problem. Every nation has information on their history whenever asked by this man. Every time the man asks a jamaican they have zero clue about anything and end up chatting shit. It's really embarrassing. We value the wrong things. I'll upset some ppl, but that's how I feel.

Are a lot of.people claiming to be from places. I'm hearing people with better English then the queen her self. I think a lot born in UK. And claiming parents country.

So Indians were the original people of Jamaica?

Another British woman was asked where she's from, she replied Nigeria, she then went onto say that VooDoo was practiced in Nigeria. Many people know that modern day people seem to call traditional religion VooDoo. Several people in the comments from Nigeria didn't appreciate her claims and again several people pointed out that she spoke with a British accent.

I'm not even sure she's Nigerian. Of all the great things from Nigeria, voodoo was what came to her mind.

M O Arowolo Jnr

Voodoo is not predominant in Nigeria. It's either Ifa, black magic and witchcraft. Voodoo is mostly practiced in Haiti

What are duppies in Jamaica?

A ghost or restless spirit is known as a 'Duppy' in Jamaica, or a Jumbie in many smaller Caribbean islands. Traditionally, a good duppy is usually a deceased family member or friend who 'dreams you' - meaning they appear in your dreams and give you advice or information.

This isn't the only person, another woman from Uganda claimed she was "from" Uganda and she incorrectly named the waterfall in Uganda.

Paul Lewis

Where were you born? Not from Uganda? U are British passport holder. Probably never been to Africa

I hate it when my people only talk about the wildlife when talking about the continent. There are other interesting things. We are not just a jungle

Richard Baguma

She must have meant Murchison Falls, which are actually the most powerful in the world. Rwenzori is a mountain range bordering D.R.Congo.

This is an example of the same thing the British white woman was attacked for, all these people who are clearly British are claiming to be from African countries. However when white people do the same thing it's called racism.

These people, mostly seem like first or second generation African immigrants, so when they say they're from Africa when they're parents or grandparents are from Africa that makes claims of racists seem more legitimate.

In-fact he seemed angry when he stopped a darker skinned Black women and she said she was from France. Why was he visibly annoyed about this? Then a white man came into the comments and said "she's clearly an African!"
