Bizaro Land

Why do we live in a society where bad is good and good is bad? Think about it. The chemicals in our water, in the air, in our foods and in our blood, are giving us cancer, low birth weight, birth deformities, etc. The pharmaceutical companies are sucking us dry poisoning us with opioids or made-up diagnosis's that is made up by the sales reps based on commission. There is a virus of the common cold wiping out our population. Storms and fires consume our lands. The homeless population is out of control and climbing. We keep people in cages (prison) when 90% of the prison population suffer from a mental illness, spiritual, or emotional problems. Instead of educating them we put them in a cage then ask them to be reformed when they get out. Ever see a dog caged up refusing it affection and proper guidance? We slaughter thousands of innocent animals for food. We find fighting as an entertainment sport. We listen to music that is utterly violent, degrading to women, and vulgar. Our divorce rate is higher than ever and then we ask those same children not to have emotional problems. We put our unwanted children in a broken foster system where they are revictimized in the name of the all mighty dollar. Prostitution is rampant. $20 for sexual favors at your disposal. Pornography is the teacher for how sex is supposed to be. The end of your life your sent to a nursing home without family waiting to die. We murder, steal, lie, cheat, and God forbid we do not live up to the Jone's. We compare our body images to starving models and crucify ourselves for being different. I find this all hypocritical and provers. We sell people as a commodity not only in the sex trade but within the schools, prisons, and hospitals. Every head has a price on it. We have so many third-party companies feeding off the larger corporations and asking for a price for a service we could be doing ourselves. We are slaves to the banks and the government. Our families suffer from lack of role models, bonding time, and we send our kids into the world with no morals and values. We are many and varied. Non perfect. There is racism and bullying. We are killing ourselves with self-hate because we do not fit into the perfect matrix of society. Wars are big business. We send our teenagers off with the government to become killers in a war over natural resources and then when they come home don’t support them. When they enlist we cheer them on congratulating them for becoming armed service members. When we have outbursts of emotions (that we weren’t taught how to handle) or am different from the cookie cutter personality, there’s a pill for that. Why do we all want to be Ken and Barbie. Isn’t that what makes us special is our differences? Do we all not have families? Do we all not breath the same toxic air?

Whether people realize it or not we are all in it together. Together is where we are going to have to stand to make changes. Each one of us has to stop the blame, the resentments, and take honest inventory of our behavior and take responsibility for our situation. How did the world get so messed up? Greedy, self-seeking, self-centered, egotistical, with an air of superiority? It started with one bad decision and snow balled. Tired of being manipulated from the mainstream media telling us untruths and one flavor of how things are. The manipulation of the Google's and Microsoft’s advertisements. Call the police to investigate a murder and no one knows where the perpetrator is and cannot see them on video. REALY? Our smart phones, smart TV’s, our Alexa’s, our smart refrigerators, car’s, home’s, air conditioners, alarm clocks and the emerging technologies that they have not told us about yet. How about that Homeland security? The one that can come in our homes without announcing themselves and take us away all for our own good. The social service workers that are supposed to inform us of services they can offer us and do not. instead, we get no call back and told they lost our paperwork that was date stamped and hand delivered, and we will have to wait 30 to 45 days. The unemployment office that holds up the only income we have over a fraud case that always turns out to be bogus. 100,000 people have died from the Opioid epidemic. This is more than Vietnam, car crashes, AIDS deaths, and its not even a mention on the news. Instead, we stick them in methadone clinics that dope them up and keep them hostage all in the name of controlling crime rates. We don’t treat we now do harm reduction. Why is it we can’t get a cigar into this country, but they get thousands of pounds of street drugs onto our streets? We can't get ahead of this? Fear starts Drug use. Drugs bread guns. Guns bread murders. Where did it start? You don’t wake up one day as an adolescent and say “I want to be a junkie or murderer one day”. Something is fundamentally missing from these people who see the only way to feel good is to take a chance at taking their lives. It’s not rocket science is self-esteem, self-image, pressure, and lack of self-love. Families do tough love and kick them out of the house. Stop supporting them emotionally, mentally, physically, and we expect things to get better. I think it’s just an excuse not to have to dedicate the time and effort to giving what they should have in the first place. Otherwise, why would they feel so bad about themselves that killing themselves is an option? I’ve known a lot of Addicts and tough love never helped anyone except the person disowning the addict. Instead, your left with a lifetime missing the sick and not getting to know your loved one. Pushing them off into worse situations and shame. The 12 step meetings that say you will always have this disease and if you don’t do what they say or not go to their meetings, you will fail. Isn’t that setting ourselves up for failure? We are who we say we are. We can change our lives and health by the toxic things we tell ourselves or the positive talk that inflames our higher self. We came into this world good, and God don’t make junk.

Do we buy that no one has been able to produce a cheaper technology that can replace gasoline? We know that certain cars can run on corn oil. What other technologies have been withheld in the patent office for fear it would do away with one of our top selling industries? Now we are afraid to go out without some defensive device to breed violence and masks that add to mother earth's pollution. Where did we stop loving ourselves, humanity, and the earth? One step in the positive at a time is where it needs to start. One step at a time. Stop lying to yourself and look at what has become of our world. Our sense of humor is deranged and we high five those who make it to the top by stepping on others. Let us slow down and make a concerted effort to dissect our behaviors and think them through. We walk right passed people who are suffering, homeless, abused, & raped on a train! Have we lost our empathy and compassion? Look at what the world could become if everyone gave with positive intent. Loved with the way we want to be treated. Stop getting stuck drowning ourselves in drugs and alcohol and prescription medication. Life is what you make it and so far, we have all made a mess of things. Save the next generation and the earth which was freely given to us. Stop the destruction, self-hate, and give yourselves a break. Look around you in this bizarre world and realize it’s a miracle we’ve all made it this far. Through our resiliency and constant fight to get up yet another day and fight the land mind we know in the 21st century. We are overworked, underpaid, and dispensable at any moment in our professions. What will I say to myself on my death bed? Will I be congratulating myself for buying that nice car and house with all the toys or be recounting the times spent with loved ones? Life is precious and fast. We have a perverse religion that tells us we are bad if we sin. Do you know “sin” is a mistranslation coming from the “Sin God”? One thing I know for certain is that I’ve never met a bad baby. People make people bad. We are taught mentally, physically, and not emotionally & spiritually. Are we not made up of Body, Mind, and spirit? We are creators. Let’s create and become a better world. In many religions we will be punished and sent to hell for simply being born by a loving god. Really? Is that how we love? Women cover their heads to show their devotion but what message are we sending to ourselves about our bodies? Shame. God gave us the earth with everything we need to sustain our lives. So why do we complicate everything with harmful chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and processed food? The hormones in the animals to make bigger animals. What does that do to our bodies or minds? We live in a society where bigger is better and more is never enough. The earth is telling us she has had enough. The fires, tornados, storms, floods, and volcanoes erupting. Let’s turn this around before it’s too late. If we don’t we will just take all our bad behaviors to Mars and beyond repeating the same mistakes. Love, Laugh, and let live. My mom said “money makes the world go around”. Isn't that the problem? I say, “love makes the world go around”. Let’s start this over again as we sit on the precipice of a broken economy and build it back better than ever. No more lawyers getting around the law through loopholes protecting the rich while we finance the government through taxes paid for by the blue-collar workers. Doesn’t that make the law contradictory? We built America (literally) and we can do it again. We need to wake up. Ask questions. Be responsible with the products we make. Think about where those products will end up. We all have free will and a choice last time I checked. The financial systems who made the housing crash in the early 2000’s who are still in power and doing business as usual. The CEO’s with their big bonuses while the working man sacrifices time with their families to make sure they can provide food, clothing, and shelter. Somewhere along the lines we had forgotten all the things we learned in kindergarten. Share, be kind, help one another, be polite, wash your hands. One thing I’d add is to be grateful. Grateful for the fighting spirit and optimistic outlook and always getting back up when life beats you down.
