Bizaro Land
Why do we live in a society where bad is good and good is bad? Think about it. The chemicals in our water, in the air, in our foods and in our blood, are giving us cancer, low birth weight, birth deformities, etc. The pharmaceutical companies are sucking us dry poisoning us with opioids or made-up diagnosis's that is made up by the sales reps based on commission. There is a virus of the common cold wiping out our population. Storms and fires consume our lands. The homeless population is out of control and climbing. We keep people in cages (prison) when 90% of the prison population suffer from a mental illness, spiritual, or emotional problems. Instead of educating them we put them in a cage then ask them to be reformed when they get out. Ever see a dog caged up refusing it affection and proper guidance? We slaughter thousands of innocent animals for food. We find fighting as an entertainment sport. We listen to music that is utterly violent, degrading to women, and vulgar. Our divorce rate is higher than ever and then we ask those same children not to have emotional problems. We put our unwanted children in a broken foster system where they are revictimized in the name of the all mighty dollar. Prostitution is rampant. $20 for sexual favors at your disposal. Pornography is the teacher for how sex is supposed to be. The end of your life your sent to a nursing home without family waiting to die. We murder, steal, lie, cheat, and God forbid we do not live up to the Jone's. We compare our body images to starving models and crucify ourselves for being different. I find this all hypocritical and provers. We sell people as a commodity not only in the sex trade but within the schools, prisons, and hospitals. Every head has a price on it. We have so many third-party companies feeding off the larger corporations and asking for a price for a service we could be doing ourselves. We are slaves to the banks and the government. Our families suffer from lack of role models, bonding time, and we send our kids into the world with no morals and values. We are many and varied. Non perfect. There is racism and bullying. We are killing ourselves with self-hate because we do not fit into the perfect matrix of society. Wars are big business. We send our teenagers off with the government to become killers in a war over natural resources and then when they come home don’t support them. When they enlist we cheer them on congratulating them for becoming armed service members. When we have outbursts of emotions (that we weren’t taught how to handle) or am different from the cookie cutter personality, there’s a pill for that. Why do we all want to be Ken and Barbie. Isn’t that what makes us special is our differences? Do we all not have families? Do we all not breath the same toxic air?

Covid AGAIN
As I sit at another COVID 19 Emergency everything closed day. Will this insanity ever end? The computer is putting out heat from overuse and my brain is fried from looking at this dam computer screen. If only I was at a place blue like the tropic waters with the sunshine on my face, toes in the soft sand, and my hair in the wind. I would watch the waves crash over and over again looking up at the bright blue sky. The palm trees sway back and forth as the blissful breeze blows the frustration from my mind. I'm in my most stylish bathing suit with a body that fits it perfectly. Maybe I'll read a book or maybe I'll float on my back feeling weightless in the deep blue ocean. The mirage of heat I see drifting just above the sand line in the distance lets me feel the energy and the powerful uplift in this lazy midsummer day. If only I could stay here indefinitely.....

The Great Divide
What?!? Infrastructure?? What? We have people hungry with no homes to live in (the number keeps growing) and they are worried about roads, bridges, and trains? People have lost loved ones due to the Opioid Epidemic, Severe Storms, Fires, and COVID 19 and are trying to make one income stretch across generations. The homeless total not only affects the low income anymore; but the middle class. The greater the divide from the rich to the poor is getting larger and larger. This is while we wait for Pharmaceutical companies to come out with new diagnoses so they can sell us on the next miracle drug. More people today than ever are on Food Stamps. We are way past the point of not going back to work because PUA has made us all rich (Ha!Ha!). We are frustrated that after a lifetime of busting our asses and now needing resources (even though we paid taxes), they are not there for us. The rules to get a job where you are underpaid, undervalued, overworked, require a background check, criminal check, vaccination proof, credit report, and are closing in on us. The loss of time with our loved ones to make someone else rich. We are tired of seeing record-breaking bonuses for the CEOs when their employees are barely making more than the national average for poverty. During the pandemic, families have done what all of us "in the hood" do all year long....side hustles. We've realized that even though employers weren't there for us we survived. Side hustles were maintained, worked (our own hours), made more profits, and had non of the bureaucratic request of Corporations hiring policies. We have financed the government through taxes and see how enslaved we've all become to the banks. Our eyes are open and we can not swallow the injustices of the "American Way". In addition to the fact that paying taxes is unconstitutional after all. No, we won't go on in blind comfortless knowing the politicians are not representing our votes. The Democrats had a blank check to right wrongs with majority votes. They could have made epic lasting changes and policies and we got more of the same politics. Murder rates are through the roof and the jails are packed without justice reform. Why are we putting sick people in cages and then letting them out expecting them to be better? How about the agencies and commissions which are supposed to watch and protect us from financial improprieties and environmental disasters that are always a day late and a dollar short? Who do they work for? We are tired of the media being one-sided instead of objectionable to both sides. The overdose rate in the United States from Opioids has reached over 100,000 people and is only a side mention. More people are dying of overdoses than car accidents, heart disease, and the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s. The water has been tainted by PFAS, PFOA, PFOS, and the measurement that is safe to ingest has gone down after each newspaper article. We need to hold the businesses that created these toxic substances accountable. The pollution to the earth and its people are astounding! The landfills are full with no plan on sight. Our oceans are over polluted with toxic trash. Oil companies are spilling oil again and again. We can stop this insanity. There are more affected by the degradation than by the unresponsive political machine that is outdated and oversold. It's time American's marched in unison and made epic changes. We can.
