You have choices, ladies.

Being pursued or prostitution?

Hello to all that have taken time to read my words. I am Shareena, aka Reena, aka staycoolgoddess on most social platforms. I am a black woman that decided to turn her curses and misfortunes into achievements and fulfillment within my life. There was so much that I wasn't taught by my mother, older sister or older cousin. There was a lot that I put myself through because I had no idea what I was really doing. I have decided to write pieces for those individuals that may have grew up like me or simply couldn't make sense of the many talks from their parents. I strive to keep things simple and straight forward. So, let's begin...

Are most young ladies aware of the difference of properly being pursued/courted and prostitution? In the day and age of City Girls, Meg the Stallion and other head strong women in the entertainment industry, it is so easy for a young lady to be confused or simply misled. Allow me to bring clarity and hope for the future of young women.

Let start with being pursued. In order for a man to properly pursue you, it will cost him money. He is supposed to be showing you how special he really believes you are and wants to make things easier for you in life. This man will apply this pressure consistently and it isn't dependent just on you opening your legs for him. Of course, we know men approach women to sleep with them. It is simply human nature. But it is up to that woman to require a man to show his character and how beneficial he is for her. Just because a man wants to sleep with you doesn't mean he likes or truly values you. It is best to make that man work for your time and affection. Have those standards in mind and require they be met. So when money is spent, it is to invest in a future with you not to quickly get you in the bed and move on to the next chick. Everything is up to you, young lady.

Now with prostitution, none of the above even matters. You're basically selling your body and sexuality for a certain fee. I just pray you protect yourself and get tested regularly if this is the life you choose to lead. I am not the one to judge you, beloved. Get your money. I just ask you be smart, invest in yourself and don't make a lifestyle out of it. There are plenty of others ways to be a sex worker and not subject yourself to such a big risk. You can have clientele and everything, but it is very rarely these people see the real value in you and want to get deep with you. They simply want to pay for their nut and go.

Whatever life women choose to lead is definitely up to each individual woman. I simply want to do my part of educating younger women or women who simply don't know. It is so easy to be manipulated in today's society. I am here to provide clarity and make sure women know that they have choices.
