The Jinn That Followed Me for Years

The incident I'm about to share with you was sent to us by someone named Soha Islam. Her home is in Alamdanga Upazila in Chuadanga District. She has sent us stories before. So, the incident I'm about to share is something that happened to her personally. The story began in 2015. From a young age, she had a strong desire to see ghosts and spirits. She would try to hear from different people how to see them, try to learn, and sometimes she would try to apply those things, but without any success. Once, she learned that you have to write a name on a piece of paper and leave it on the roof of the house at night with a perfume (attar). If you go in the morning and see that the perfume is gone, you'll know it worked. Some jinni will come to meet you, some jinni has taken it. So, she did this once at night. She couldn't sleep all night thinking about when it would be morning and she could go and see if the perfume had been taken. She was worried about what might happen at night, what might come. So, she didn't sleep well all night, although her mother had heard some noise on the roof at night. However, she didn't think at the time that it could be some noise related to jinn. In the morning, before anyone else got up, she went up to the roof to see what the condition of the perfume and the paper was. She went and saw that the perfume was lying a little away from where it had been placed. But the understanding was that the perfume would be taken away. It might have been blown from one place to another by the wind at night. She thought that it didn't work this time either. Disappointed, she went back inside and called the friend who had told her this method, saying, "Hey, nothing happened. It didn't work at all. The perfume is still there, but not where I put it, in another place." Actually, it wasn't supposed to work anyway, that's what seemed natural.

So, he didn't realize that these kinds of different activities could bring a big change to his life. The incident happened a few days later, one night he felt like someone was sitting in front of him and eating something in their hand. He didn't pay much attention, thinking it was his imagination. But no, every night at a specific time, he would feel that someone was sitting in his room, on the sofa set next to his bed. Sometimes it seemed like they were eating something, sometimes not, just sitting there. Since he thought a lot about these jinns and fairies, it seemed like he was seeing these things in his sleep. For the first few nights, he kept thinking it was like that. A few nights later, around two in the morning, he suddenly woke up. He looked and saw a human-like figure staring at him. Just staring. He didn't know what to do. He started to feel scared. Then he covered his face with the blanket and lay still for a few minutes. Then, gathering some courage, he removed the blanket from his face and saw that there was nothing in front of him. Basically, that day was the first time he truly felt what fear was. After that, he shared this matter with his mother. His mother said that he thought about these things all day long, so he probably saw things like that; it was just his imagination. His mother didn't actually believe it.

A few nights later, he was asleep, just dozing off. Suddenly, he felt like someone had suddenly entered his body. His whole body went numb immediately. He couldn't speak or move his limbs. Somehow, the word "Allah" came out of his mouth, and immediately his body became normal again. Basically, after this incident, he told his mother everything. When it happened, he immediately got out of bed and went to his mother's room and woke her up and told her about it then and there. The next morning, a religious leader known to his mother was shown to this Soha Islam. Meaning, she was taken to him, and he was consulted.

So, after listening to the matters, the religious leader said that it was indeed the work of a jinn, but he needed to know why that jinn was influencing from afar and why it was doing so. He told him to come back and see him in two or three days, and he would try to explain the rest, God willing. After that, he came back to his home from the leader's place. Hearing the reason for his fear, that friend of Soha Islam's sister came to his house. After arriving, he told his mother everything that he had done so far. After hearing this, his father started scolding him severely, saying, "Do you know what danger you have brought? Something terrible could happen!" That's what they were saying, more or less. That night, he was lying down, feeling drowsy, when suddenly he felt that someone was standing at the door inside his room, wanting to say something to him. He felt scared and didn't look in that direction, but turned to the other side and kept praying in his mind. This happened almost every night. Whenever he woke up, he felt that someone was standing in the room, wanting to talk to him. But this was only for two or three nights. He was supposed to go see that religious leader in two or three days. So, after two or three days, when they went to see the religious leader, the leader said that what was with him was not something bad, it was good. That jinn wanted to talk to him. He asked if he remembered helping a poor person a while ago. Then Islam said, "Yes, I remember helping someone like that." Then the religious leader said that the person he helped was actually in the guise of that poor person. He had essentially helped a jinn. This jinn hadn't come to him for help. Some jinn sometimes come for help like this to understand people's minds and mentality. He had helped then, and after that, that jinn came to see him. The method he used to summon the jinn didn't work. He had essentially helped a jinn, which is why that jinn came to his place. However, it cannot be removed from him.

Removing it (referring to the entity) might cause a significant loss of your memory and that’s how harm will come to you. It will not harm you; rather, it will help you if it can. Now, you tell me, should I remove it from you or keep it?

The family members said, “Okay, no need. Let it stay as it is if it causes trouble.” So, a few days passed like this. One night, she was sleeping when suddenly she woke up. Just like how she used to wake up other times, she saw a human-like figure standing in her room, just like before, and looking at her. But this time, she could see a kind of smile on its face. There was a radiant glow on its face, which made it seem brighter, even though a dim light was on in the room. Still, its face was clearly visible. Soha Islam Apu was scared, but she gathered courage and looked at it closely. Suddenly, she noticed it was gone. She doesn't even remember when she fell asleep after that.

From then on, that figure would appear from time to time, looking at her. Gradually, her fear also subsided. Whenever she was alone, she felt like someone was around her; she felt like the jinn was there. So, time went on like this. One day, she felt like she needed to talk to that jinn. So, one night, she woke up again and saw that figure. This time, she gathered the courage to try to talk. Her hands and feet were trembling with fear, but she still greeted it with a "Salam" and tried to talk to it. But she couldn't really talk that way. That same night, she had a dream. In the dream, she saw the figure coming to her, saying, "Always try to stand by people and help them. As long as I live, and as long as I have life, I will try to stay with you, Inshallah. And you will not have any problems. And if I come and talk directly, you might be scared, so I won't talk to you directly. I will come and talk in your dreams." So, the story could have ended there, but no, it didn't end like that. Around 2022, Soha Islam Apu's marriage was fixed.

So, after that, she started seeing him in her dreams. He would threaten her, saying she shouldn't get married, that if she did, she would have problems. After that, she did get married, though after the marriage, there were constant family troubles. She didn't get along with her husband, there were fights and arguments. So, about a year passed like this. For quite some time before her marriage, she didn't see that figure in her dreams in the same way. However, she would see another figure similar to that one in her dreams. The face wasn't really clear, so she would see another figure like that one, and it would threaten her.

So, things continued like this. Her married life was going through a very bad phase. There were constant fights and arguments. She couldn't stand to look at her husband; just seeing his face would upset her. And sometimes, at night, she and her husband would both hear the sound of someone walking on the roof of the house. One night, her husband couldn't return home for some work; he had gone to a distant place. She went outside the room to go to the washroom and saw a figure standing there, smiling at her. This was the first time she was terribly scared because, although she had seen such figures before, even if the face wasn't clear, she hadn't been scared. But this time, she got scared and fainted right there.

When she regained consciousness, she saw many of her family members around her, mostly her in-laws. Then, a Hujur (religious leader) was called, the same Hujur who had seen her initially. That Hujur said, "Daughter, you were pregnant, but your child is no longer there. They have eaten your child. And the jinn that was with you, after your marriage, that jinn didn't come to you in that way."The reason is that you could actually be harmed, as you might be scared in your new family life. Also, your in-laws might take it differently if they knew about these things. That's why that jinn didn't come to you. But taking advantage of this opportunity, some enemy jinn of that jinn, when they learned or understood that the original jinn used to come to you and help you, they started bothering you during this absence, in this void. Essentially, they started causing trouble for you to take revenge on that original jinn. That's why this problem has occurred. But don't be afraid; Inshallah, these evil jinn won't be able to come near you anymore. And that good jinn will now occasionally talk to you in dreams again, like before. It won't come in reality because you might be scared if it does. That's why, when the Imam and I had a conversation about this, after the Imam performed spiritual healing (Jhar Phuk), even though those evil jinn didn't come to him, that good jinn still occasionally comes and talks to him in dreams. Essentially, he might suffer harm or get scared if it comes directly; various things could happen to him. That's why, for his own good, that jinn didn't come to him after his marriage. But this intermediate void, this void was filled by some enemy jinn of that original jinn. They were trying to harm Soha Islam. Thankfully, by the grace of Allah, Soha Islam is doing well.
